I went two years ago. If the weather is nice it's a great place for a rally, but if it's rainy and cold . . . :puke1

Also, a little spendy for a ADV-style rally. A campsite for 3 nights costs $69, and the rally fee is $50 per person. So for me and Queen Bee that's $169. The organizers say that most of the $50 fee pays for a 45-minute sunset boat cruise, but there's no-opt out or discount if you skip it.

Still, if you want to meet kindred souls, nothing better than a sidecar rally!

Melrone has reminded me that it's the kick off weekend for MN,WI,IA rallies also but also a good one to freeze ones ass off. We're having the coldest wettest March/April on record here not getting my break in miles on.DB

I've got a site, and SP rules allow up to 8 folks on one site :deal(IIRC).
I camp for free, so I'd be willing to split the cost if some cheapskate ADV'r want's to camp at cutrate... :ned :freaky
as to rally fees - hell, I spend more'n that on beer and breakfast anyways. :1drink

How do you camp for free in a reserved space at a state park? I'm all for it, but what's your secret? Is your last name really Insley?

We will be there again. Lots of fun with the games, show, rides and even a sidecar drive in movie. If they have the movie again, it will be difficult to beat last years movie, it was great.

This isn't mine, just one of the rigs in one of the games.

I'm betting it has to do with his government status. No, not the fact that he is deranged, his other status...his public service status.

Thanks Tony. I'd like to but I think I need to save my tires for Kootenay Lake.

I mostly think I can't got but hell it's a chance to meet the Noble Savage Bruce.

Your bike will be done in time for you to go if you want. The people who are installing plan on going so it has to be done.
