It's my only bike that runs at the moment.
2006 Honda Shadow Spirit. bought used 4th owner in July of last year with 5.5 k and with no real personal biking miles, have since seen the odometer pass 30k.
Next year's goal is to see how far south Ophellia will go before her demise. 'Topes' seem to take the spring out of bike and rider.
Saw Vince Austin in Naperville this summer and he stated that if he were to do it all over again, he would not ride around the world on anything larger than a 250. Thoughts/comments?

Well if you are going to stay under a 250 I would just get a bicycle. I remember riding distance on a Honda 305 back in the 60's. Small bike will beat you up pretty good. :huh MMMMM But if you are into that then by all means make sure that bike is a two stroke for a little additional torture. Bring spare plugs also.
I myself think that would take a bit of the fun out of the trip. Just a bit of course.
