I was a mechanic at Ron & Brians from 1997-2000, we really looked foward to working on clapped out 15 year old dirtbikes , but yeah, it sounds par for the course, that was near the end for them, they closed shortly after.

Gonna install a CV4 silicone hose kit today, mount some new S-12 XC's and repack the wheel bearings, who knows, with these crazey weather patterns, could be riding in a couple of weeks.
You're surprised the 100$ bearing kit is from China?
I got silly and snagged some WR gears off ebay for the YZ. Now I just gotta resist the urge to bore\stroke the thing while I got it torn down for gear swap. 290cc big bore sounds nice, but stroking it then to a YZ310F doesn't sound too bad either.

The CV4 hose kit is American made and at 137.00 bucks, my wife just shook her head and walked out of the shop.
