Galena is a whole 'nuther story.

I ride through {ONCE} while riding Blackjack and some of the more interesting River Basin roads whilst heading up to the ABCs of SW Wisconsin.

    That will never happen again.

But it is kinda like lumping you in with the rest of Iowa's Cubs fans. :puke1

After much pain, and far too much money spent, the GasGas roared back to life last night.

Now do I build my new grill tonight, or reassemble the YZ. Big decisions.

The bike was running like a raped ape before I got my dirty hands into it. :lol3

I woulda been up and running had I of not had my issues reassembling the cases the first time. It is what it is, and it'll be back in action here shortly.

WR Gears, Big Bore & some fresh bearings n such. I couldn't stomach the extra 260$ for the stroker. Though it is tempting :evil

eBay has been a blessing. When I needed to replace the cases, there were 15,000 different ones on there. Everyone still wanted an arm and a leg for them. I was able to lowball a pile of people, and score a set for stupid cheap. Gotta love it! :lol3

Haha i know!!! I am getting this thing back together and if it runs and lights work and such (pretty sure my lightimg coil is fubared) it might end up in a plated/titled frame insteadof the one it came in...unless anyone knows how to get a title...

From what I've found, its almost easier to find a frame with a title on ebay. It's how I got my XR plated.

What route are you doing for lights on the KX? I've been looking at options for lighting on the YZ, but the best one (finding used pre e-start WR stator\flywheel) is a crapshoot on ebay. That or a 35W Electrosport stator which I don't trust too much.

I've considered re-winding mine, but there is very little info online about taking an MX stator & adding a lighting coil to it.

The engine i have is from a 75 f11, it was a street titled bike but i dont have a title for it... So as long as the engine and such works, i would enjoy being able to run on the road... I have seen a few f7 frames with titles, but not sure if the 250 would fit a 175 frame...

Hmm, Looks familiar. I had to get a new crankcase for my lowly KLX this winter. eBay saved me a ton of $$ too.

Cracked boss on crankcase and thrashed clutch gear that started the whole case swap.

Slapped most of it back together and fired it back up a couple weeks ago.
