Yes i do... As for costs, the bike i am getting is about the only option for me, i have around 700 total for a bike, title fees and plate fees and all.... That eliminates a lot of bikes, and this one falls in that range... I am fine with working on it, its fun to me... I honestly would rather do a complete buildup on something like this than find out down the road how the PO Mickeymoused crap together....

I know there are deals out there, i have seen quite a few of them pass thru my hands because of not having the funds.... I have the funds for this one, and im willing to do the work... AND the seller is willing to hold it for me till i get back in town...

The bike you want to get is NOT a deal.

Sorry for being blunt. But a ragged out ChinaBike isn't a deal at $200. He doesn't have to "hold" it for you. No one else wants it. Hold on to your money until an actual deal comes along, instead of blowing it on this science project.

I'm done with this; plenty of people with much more experience than you have tried to hold your hand. You really don't want to listen.

Bogie , for your sake (and ours) , I hope the seller sells it to someone else . Otherwise you are buying a huge headache. Just save up some money and buy a worthy bike . You should not have any problem finding a bike ready to roll for $1000.

You can't go wrong with these guys, great tracks, people, and food. I try to do at least one ride a year with them. Will do the July ride this year.

    and THAT, proves the point.

Try this analogy: If you're standing on a train track, and you hear a loud whistle, and the ground rumbles, and you look down the track in the direction you are facing and see nothing, DO YOU FEEL SAFE?

No sir, but my lack of stones for jumps stems from spending a week in the hospital for arm reconstruction via 2 surgeries from a bmx crash 10 yrs ago... When you land cockeyed and you go over the bars and go to get up and your left arm dangles by only the flesh, and the bone is clean snapped, as well as fractured down into the joint in 3 spots, and the first three docs to look at the x ray in the ER say they cant fix it, you get a new appreciation for the guys that do air it out....i on the other hand dont.... Because i know what can happen when it goes wrong... A $35,000 arm, 9 screws, a plate, 43 staples, a month and a half in a cast, a month and a half of therapy, and a 50% chance of having NO use of your arm at all...thankfully i have 99% of the original motion, and 90% of the original strength... But i never want to find myself in that situaton ever again.....

:1drinkI'd like to have about 14 beers and run the YZ400f at WOT in 5th gear about 70mph over that jump. Gonna get some serious air-time n make you squids-n-Bubba proud. :D
thats why I got da racetech modded out superbike, just for a nice little hill like dat.
n if I break my hand, arm or whatever I gotz me another one on da other side.

Moose, I'm guessing that jumps 3rd gear? Depending on how far you want to gap on it?

I know all too well what happens when you don't commit to a double:

    :lol3

That being said, this past year I've gotten far more comfortable in my jumping (I'm thanking my neighbors coaching for that).

And now I wanna go back to Byron this weekend. :lol3

The last time I attempted a huge double I ended up with a plate and 9 screws in my tibia.
No more for this old man!:deal
