Wow ,nice boat, the weather is perfect, 80 with a good stiff breeze, the Escanaba is high, and flowing like a S.O.B.
We put on a 120 plus miles, saw one of the biggest bears I have ever seen up here. Riding with a friend who has not been a bike in 40 years, no time for kayKing this trip Will hopefully be up kayaking next weekend.
John, you should have dropped it! It would have made a nice bear rug for Jim's place!
Just got a new toy
2008 TE250, the KLX250s is going to stay pretty clean from now on.
Great bike . Congrats ! I have to assume the 310 kit is on order .
Thanks, So far the 250cc's seem like enough (I've only ridden it twice) but it's nice to know the option is out there. I have the 351cc jug on my KLX250s, but this 250 seems to put more power to the ground. The only thing I don't like so far is the throttle, it seems real twitchy just off idle. Probably just something I will have to get used to,,,,,different bike and all.
I'll have to look and see if the bike has one of those on it already, because that's how it is acting, and I don't like it.
Got to turn a few laps on a mild MX track in Alden IL today.
KDX is so much better then the KLX. :)
Did some riding with JetRep in the y00per this weekend. Ice cream in Trenary. Scouted some new trails. 400ish miles in 2.5 days, not too bad.
I may be slightly more vigilant in getting my WR officially plated.
Also, if you get the ORV Sticker in the UP....Put it on your BACK Fender. Front is a no-no.
PS - Also may have ridden a KTM 500exc. Pulls like a damn freight train. RMX250's are one hell of a machine too....rear brakes or not.
Hey AG. Did you get stopped for a sticker from DNR?
I'll give the Chicago gang first dibs, 2500.00 cash takes it away.

+1 on the G2. I have the dirt tamer on my 2012 TE310 and it is a big improvement over the OEM tube. They have last years models on sale for $29 too.
Great deal on a well sorted and maintained bike.
What's next Jerry?
