I spoke to a CHP officer today who said that he still has a LONG hospital stay ahead of him (many months) and it looks to be a career ending injury.

    Keep fighting Mike!

That's an improvement and better than some of the alternatives. I'm staying positive that his recovery will complete and quicker than predicted.

Please continue with updates on Mikes condition through out his recovery.
    Thanks

That really sucks! Hopefully the perp will get at least a small fine and some probation. Sadly, the officer and our state will somehow get sued for damage to the pickup and mental distress for the accused.

    Get well soon Mike.

Still sending good thoughts Mike's way. Is there a gofundme or anything else we can contribute to, give a little help to his family towards medical bills and future recovery?

    +1 for a gofundme, etc.

Best wishes from someone that was rear-ended in Baton Rouge last year on my GSA. I was lucky but it still wasn't fun.
