C U there.
Would love to make it but there is some fierce competition for this Sunday. A job I need to finish and theres something else......oh yeah, Mothers day. Looking slim for me but maybe next weekend!
we'll be done by 2PM for that reason:dg
Wish I could make it. Not this weekend though. Booked solid.
We generally go to a later service, 7am!
No ride for me this weekend! Right knee still sore!
I'm hoping to finish the 640A by tomorrow evening and ride it on Sunday, but the obligatory lunch for my gf's mom seems to be in the way!
Enjoy and stay safe!
Hope I see you all at the Big Bear Bash on the 16, 17, and 18!
so wheres the report and pics?
it was a 'spiritual' ride.
i smelled the flowers, waved to hikers, talked to quite a few other motorcyclist, and had my usual at the cafe:dg.
all in all i rode almost 200 miles JUST around SCD and i never rode the same road twice.
i DID find some semi secret trails to ride, so i promise next ride up to SCD i'll be riding them!!!
I'm sure it's easier to communicate with God and find spiritual salvation if we ride especially at higher elevation (closer to heaven).
All we need is a preacher to lead the ride to make it official!
If we go in a Honda we can all be in 'one accord' as per the Good Book!
let us all converge upon the mountains of the Angeles Forest.
oh yeah, check the updated original post.
That in Pasadena?
Nope, a little farther west, but not that far...about 12 miles west of Angeles Crest turn-off.
i live in los feliz if you wanna ride out together.
OR i say go north on the 5, exit osborne, go east past hanson dam, follow under the 210, then a left and a left and you are at 7-11.(sorry for the vague directions, but it is pretty damn easy).
but again I can't make it. Going to a wedding in Ventura this weekend. And Will be at the "Ride for Kids" next Sunday. Great fun ride and helps a cause. Actually i am going to start a link...here it is:
Thanks. Can't commit just yet. My work situation's a little strange. I'll show up if I can.
Got a D-sported XRR I wanna get dirty. The tires are Sahara 3s, so I won't be doing bermshots!
I'm out this Sunday. Got an early rehearsal. My new band has it's first gig on Saturday the 14th. We have 2 more rehearsals to iron out the wrinkles.
Where? and what kind of music? Nothing like friends to fill the house!!!!
Thanks for asking, Turin. It's at It's A Grind in Lakewood, Saturday, June 14, 7:30-9:30. We play covers of classic rock, blues and a little bluesy jazz. Then the next week (June 21) we'll be down the road a little at the It's A Grind in Long Beach (Bixby Knolls). No cover at either gig. Love to see any of you FF's there. First cupa joe is on me.
