I've always liked Mefo Super Explorer tires but now....I'm totally sold. A buddy of mine rode from California through Canada over to New Jersey and then to my place. 7500 miles on the rear tire below. All road miles. Impressive! The front tire....not so great but I still use those too.

I wouldn't race on them but they're decent on wet pavement. In mud - definitely not as good as a full on knobby but they get me through most stuff I'm willing to try.

Agree mostly. Some places need protected and as the law is written it's not bad because it specifies protecting the smallest parcel of land possible. Of course, when individuals (Presidents in this case) have sole power - overreaching occurs. Bears Ears is the most obvious example. Thanks for the link!

I had forgotten about that site ( I'm old ) thanks for the reminder. I may have more roads to add to it, I'll have to check.

I have been 3 times and loved it every time. Dirty, loud and uneasy footing. It's been rescheduled for the 22nd I think. I'm planning on going with a couple others.

You can also use maplets. Let's you use the public map and shows you with GPS so no need for data as long as you download the map before going. My Verizon was spotty on the trails.

Definitely interested in that. So it will show your location on that Pike map in your picture? I see a couple different maplet apps, which particular one are you using?

Please do. I'll be riding Saturday only - the DS loop. I'll be speaking around dinner time about Sharetrails.org and reopening Hoosier National Forest to OHV.

I should have included this info. Sorry for the omission. Here is the link to their site. It is only in the Amazon store for Android.

And yes it shows your location with a blue dot. Easy to follow.
