I'll check it out! I still have my S6 that I could dedicate to this. I still keep it around because of its great photo capabilities (compared to the iPhone anyways).

We had a great time riding at Wayne this weekend, but we ultimately ended up at the hospital Saturday night...
One of our friends riding on a quad flipped. Broken ankle, fractured pelvis, and fractured spine. He is doing fine, just be laid up for a bit.

It happened just west of where 278 intersects the trail. So it allowed easy access for the EMTs.

Still had a great time riding. That is by far the most trails I have ridden and I was really in a groove it seemed. My buddy is putting together his GoPro footage, I will post will available.

Looks like they have an Apple version too, it's $2.99. I downloaded on my tablet and it seems pretty cool! Definitely gonna check it out on the trails. We are going to the smokies the end of this month, and I can try it out on our hikes too.

    Thanks for the info!

Is anybody going to the Lake Vesuvius ride this weekend?
It looks like it would be good for mid size, maybe even bigger, bikes.

I'm heading to (near) Danville, KY for an offroad poker run. This property was used in the KY Hare Scrambles series and the owners still let people ride there with permission. This event is designed to help them pay the property taxes. Small bikes - tight, hilly and wonderful trails! Worth the admission price. :deal

Brokenhalo, we did Lake V last year. I rode the DRZ, and it was perfect for that bike. My buddy rode his 990, but I think he had the biggest bike there. He rode the whole thing. It would be a hoot on your 640.

Are you all going again this year? I'd consider going but don't want to ride over and don't want to load/unload the beast in the back of my truck. So, I'd need to hitch a ride over.

May end up just doing some tarmac riding on the road bike.

I'll trailer over, but I live in Wilmington. Don't know if that will help you much, but you're welcome to meet and ride with me.

    Hey everyone,
I'm new to the Cincinnati area and I'm looking to ride some single-track trails this Saturday. I'm very interested in riding Wayne National Forest, but I also saw that there were some trails in Pike State Park which is quite a bit closer. Is it worth the long journey to Wayne National Forest?

I can only speak about Pike, but it is great IMHO.

No single track at Wayne and I doubt Pike but I've never ridden there. Mostly you'll find dual track everywhere except private land. Redbird Crest trail has some excellent singletrack but not much mileage. Same with Sheltowee Trace south of KY80.

No single track in Pike. All quad trail, but won't be near as crowded as Wayne on Saturdays. You'll have to go to KY for single track.

There is some single track at Wayne over at Longridge. It is not technically legal and kind of hard to find. I like riding Wayne on Sundays, by midday most
Of the quads sxs have cleared out by then. Never see many sxs or quads over at Longridge.

I think I will go check out the poker run in Kentucky tomorrow. It's probably the best chance I will get at some good single track. I hope to see some of you there.
