    Greetings,
As CJ is out on an extended ride, does anyone else know what size fuel line (ID) I should get to attach to this Expedition tank?

    Thanks!

I do know the tap has a 1/8" npt for the nipple.

I'm thinkin it may end up being the same as oem for the inside diameter.

    I can't say for sure tho.:1drink

    Sorry for missing this ?

I've had no issues running off a 1/4" ID line on my SE test tank.

    For Example.

The ADV cross over lines are 1/4".

    Main feed is 5/16".

Got it, 1/4" ID fuel line it is! :D

I've also sourced some nice metal, bi-valved quick disconnects (with Viton O-rings) to make pulling both tanks, and the carbs, a simple and dry process.

Yeah... I'm putting all 10 on my bike :rofl

CJ just sent me this photo yesterday as he knew I'd be salivating as I wait for my box to go to the power coater and then get shipped to me.

    Not yet.

If you want one, you can order here: http://www.dualsportwarehouse.com/C...STORAGE-BOX-KTM-950-990-ADVENTURE-CJD-ESB.htm

I have 3 (Black) at Powder Coating. These will be ready next Monday or Tues. (They are swamped)

I hope to build and ship the same day I get them. 4th of July will delay them a day or so in shipping to whomever next week.

    2 Black are still available.

    Not Yet,

Welder is backed up too. Little issue at the laser, they forgot to make one panel and I need to CNC Filler necks yet. That won't happen for at least 1 week. (CNC is busy running Racks) Then those get welded on.

We need to complete at least 2 production units to finalize price.

    - I've decided to add a Fuel level sight tube on the outside as I feel it's great to know how much fuel you have inside unlike other options.

    - So the first 2 will have this, if you don't want it, we can delete on future boxes and have it as an option. Thoughts? :ear

Once I hear back from the welder I'll post more info. Sorry for the delay.

++ for the sight tube. Great idea!

Craig, I'm still on the short list for the SE tank? When do you think those will hit the website? Sounds like you are busy..busy is a good thing!

Yep, You're on the list.

Once I get a final price, we'll get it up on the site. Might be 1 week before I get a price set. More parts and items required for the tank kit.

At this time I'd say 1-3 weeks.

Will post more pix when I install it tomorrow morning, though I can say right now it's WAY LIGHTER than it looks. Even with this box, the TI Remus, and new 2-into-1 pipe, the net weight loss will be substantial... my girl's gonna have a lot less junk in her trunk. :lol3
