It's been a long time coming on this next batch, but it's finally started. :clap

Baskets have started to be blanked out and I'll be working out final pricing over the next few weeks as I make some changes and updates on this run.

This is a much larger batch than last time so hopefully everyone on the waiting list will get one no problem. I'm not sure how many more runs of these I'll be doing so if you are interested in a basket for your LC8 that will last the life of your engine, or longer, now is the time to get in on one.

Once I have pricing and approximate due date, I'll post up pricing and start taking orders. As normal, these will ship out first to those that have put a deposit down. I hope to offer a Pre-production PROMO, so keep an eye on this.

I will offer DIY kits for those that have the tools and know how and a SWAP program.

    thanks for your support,
    Craig

    Greetings Craig,
While I'm waiting for your Super Enduro Christini conversion to materialize, please put me down for one of these clutch baskets.

I'll take a hub too, if you decide to make these as well.

So after a very long wait we have the next batch ready to head to hard coat early next week.

Final machining operation is the EDM Sinking for the last bit of Fiber depth.

This is done with a Custom Graphite cutting probe.

    I will be gone June 4- 16th.

I will be offering these first come first serve. Many have been waiting a long time. Thank you for your patience. The first batch will be 25 pieces. I only have so many "Core" Gears, so these will be built on a swap offer. Prepayment offer gets you "In Line".

Core Charge is added, unless you send your basket in to get rebuilt.
Core Charge is REFUNDED in FULL once I get your basket back with in the 2 week time frame. (I need cores back asap to get others sent out)

If you want a new Complete Billet basket and keep your basket, I will give pricing on that too.

Pricing is still being worked out. I will have that posted in the next day with more prepayment info if you want to get in line.

There is also a Do it your self version, but machine tools and 20 ton press is required. Both pricing options will be given.

At this time these are only available DIRECT through CJ Designs b/c of the Machine building work required. I will be gone June 4-16th, so I want to give everyone time to think this over and send in payment so I can get started on these as soon as I return home.

    Thank you for your support,
    Craig

Looking forward to this. I'll be sending in my basket to have you swap over my gear to it so I get the same gear back.
I know there'll be a little downtime for the bike because of this, but as mine has so few miles on it, I really want to run my same gear.

Anyone else already sent their basket to CJ as well? :ear
I can't wait for this new one to get back to me so I can roost all over anyone who's dumb enough to get behind me, and not have to worry about breaking the clutch basket's tangs in the process!!! :D

I've got a few baskets here. The rivets showed up today and hope to start on those this Tues or Wed. Get them shipped ASAP so everyone can get back riding again.

Thanks again for your support. This has been a long process and I feel this part will last you the life of your engine no problem. Safe Travels.

Ok, can you give more detail on the process of changing one out? I have access to a 20 ton press here at the shop so that is not a problem, does your DIY kit come with directions and all the parts required to complete the job?
    Thanks!

The DIY kit includes the basket and rivets. That's it. You're on you own to do the figuring.

I needed special tooling to hold everything together properly when it comes to Press time. This info I will not be giving out.

More CJD Billet LC8 baskets back in stock for your Winter bike rebuild.

The right side engine case must be removed to install this, so now would be great a time to upgrade/ rebuild your Waterpump system.
