You just swap them side to side and turn over the the peg then they are higher . It's in their instructions .

Really ??? Hmmm .... did not see that and I read the instructions. In fact the guys from BRAP Racing at the MOA Rally in TN. warned me that they do lower the pegs a bit. I will give them a call and ask. I assume if you swap them left to right the normal foot platform is then on the bottom and you would be resting your foot on a smooth (not spiked) surface? Or am I missing something?

You only swap the center axle then swap the platform to the same side .

Thanks ... BUT after reading the link on the Pivotpegz site it states the "swap" allows you to LOWER the pegs by 10MM .... my issue was i wanted the pegs HIGHER so that the gap from shifter to pegs was not as great. Just a personal preference but one that was a show stopper for me.

The height of Pivot Pegz® is adjustable on most motorcycle models by simply interchanging the left and right Mount Assemblies. It is a simple task and takes less than 10 minutes and the end result is that you can lower your Pivot Pegz® by up to 10mm.
Due to the pivoting nature of Pivot Pegz® the riding position feels less cramped and for this reason we recommend that customers test ride Pivot Pegz® in the normal configuration before lowering them. If after test riding the rider still desires more room then the lowering option is always available.

All colors and sizes back in stock (KTM and Pivot Pegs). Ready for your feet's enjoyment. Just got back from a 6,000 mile loop. Having a bit more length sure takes the strain off my legs and ankles.:ricky

    :huh
The reason the PPegs can move up and down , they are offset ...
So in the high setting they will be higher than stock and the low one below stock , a little for and aft as well . In the lower position they are a bit back .
Hey Rapid the link works for me , try the Google machine .

I did the PP swap, there is a minor difference in height which is good. One thing they don't mention, the rotation of the PP changes when you do turn them around. In normal position you get more forward rotation, in reversed you get a bit less.

    Anyhow, this is off topic.

CJ, I may be interested in trying out the add-ons to the Pivot Pegs. Are there different lengths? Is that what I'm reading? I'd only want a little more.
    PM me if you want.

    Hi Rapid Dog,

Yes, I offer 2 lengths, the standard and Long. Just like the KTM sizes of the original.

I have some pics w/ measurements on my site here.
The Pivot pegs pic has the standard installed.

Prices are the same as the KTM units. I can send a paypal invoice or I take checks and I have all colors and sizes in stock ready to ship on Wed. PM me your email address and I get you set up.

The wider pegs give such a stable platform it feels like a new bike .
A lot less fatiguing on de feet !
Even in the twistys it lets you steer with your feet , just push on the outside peg !!

Just dropping in since I've been running cjracers peg extensions for the last 2.5 months and want to give you my .02

They are worth their weight in gold, excellent for getting my weight way out
there for counter balance, and at 135lbs I need all the help I can get over this machine when I am moving slow. Great for the street too, plenty of room to move around and get comfortable, not to mention all the support...the list goes on and on and on...

Couple of installed pics for ya.
I'll buy ya beers the next time I see you on the trail I hope!:freaky

Originally I made these with out stainless pins. The Aluminum faces wore out faster, and lost there grip over time. They we also more slippery when wet. I updated the design to include Stainless steel pins to offer great grip with out ripping up the soles of your boots. I now have over 60,000 miles on my first set.

These extenders increases the size and length of your stock KTM footpegs.
