    Hi all,

just a quick post to remind any one that might be planning to have a ride at the VMX Classic Dirt 8 event on the Queens birthday weekend. You have to pre register at the VMX magazine website http://www.vmxmag.com.au/03_news_events/vmx_news_events.html , they are capping riders to 600 and they already have 550ish registered. They are very strongly advising that you wont be able to register at the event. Hope to see a heap of the Snail Trail and Cat Tracks crew there it really is an unmissable event if you like old dirt bikes.

    No worries Brian.

I think our little group will have about 27 bikes in this year, cant remember how many we had last year but it was a good turn out.

Hey Cruz, Yeah mate. Deb and I have had this one on the calendar for quite some time now and will most likely be camping in the back of the Prado. I have not registured yet as a rider. Have you mate??? These type of events and riding has got me very very interested and might have to have a good look on whats on offer for sale for future VMX events. Love it..:thumb.

Sorry for my ignorance guys but do the bikes competing in these events need to be registured??? also does anyone know if there is facilities, ie; showers/toilets etc..

Anyone else got piccies of what they are bringing to this event to make us all more jealous. Who is taking what to sell this year. Either Enduro or Trials...Someone got something special out there they are considering passing on...Looking forward to this one Brian (Pritch 39)..:wave.

    Cheers,

I am in - on the trusty (well mostly) PE250Z. Looking forward to it, but have to get my new mains bearings in the motor first.

Bikes don't have to be registered and there are toilets, showers, kiosks, coffee dude etc up there.

You have to pre-register to ride though and at the start of the week they already had about 500 names for the 600 spots.
