    There was a small batch of Ambos built in late '71 that had both the Eldo style "waffle" crankcase and "deep sump" rear drive. "Sophia" is one, Greg Bender's is another. Only way to tell they're an Ambo at a glance is the smooth 4-speed transmission case.

    The '69 had been "drydocked for refitting" since Oct. '07, finally got around to fixing most of it's issues this past week and now it's back on the road. The red tank fractured one of the mounting ears, so I installed a nice black tank and battery covers that I had laying around. The fairing and bags will be left off until at least the winter. Should I call it "Charlotte Too", Raj? :D

    charlene? :lol3

    they're almost twins anyhow. You got red pins on that one?
    I've got to repaint my fenders this winter. I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to stay white, or black them out to match the bike.

    I do like the tuxedo factor.....

    How much? Condition?

    Just today, as I was toodling down the Blue Ridge Parkway, I thought about selling my R67/2 and was wondering what I would get with the money...

    Open question;
    What's a V7 Sport go for these days anyway?

    keep 'em coming... I am inheriting my Dad's old '71 Ambo, which is in piss poor shape, and will need a lot of TLC, and some serious, serious elbow grease
