cleaning screen protector goop

    took off the old protector that''s been on 4 or 5 years and most of the goop stayed on the screen...

    what'd you use to clean it of without hurtin the screen....?? :ear

    yeah I've got 'goo gone' and used it on other surfaces
    just a bit worried for some reason that it might harm the screen

    but I'll give it a go

    I used isopropyl alcohol to clean the screen on an iphone after taking off the protector screen. It worked pretty good and is not harmful.

    +1 on rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth or cotton ball.
