Hey.. glad you found the site and thread. Yes, we had a GREAT ride. (ride report in a day or so). Maybe you can join everyone for the Pahrump ride. Riding ALL levels/bikes. The people are a bit of 'characters' but with a good shower, you can wash that off.

Looked for you when we came down the hill.. figured you blew out. We didn't see any vultures flying overhead so we concluded.. no over-the-side-death. We went to Toms and had a bite to eat, then an easy (easier anyway) ride back to the trucks.

Rides are usually posted with "big bike friendly" when they are. Rides/rallies like above are both. You ride whatever you want as there are all types there. The only time it gets a little confusing is when someone says "dual sport" ride and they actually mean "plated dirt bike".

Great ride yesterday. It was particularly nice getting to confirm with Troy that we basically have all the same riding gear, only differnece is mine is Childs small and his is Adult L. Regardless of the dust and traffic, has a great time

When I rode by it leaving work last night, it looked like it was just outside the boundaries. It's an OCFA fire so I figured it wasn't technically in CNF or forestry service would be on it. OCFA said Siera Peak was at risk so they have resources in place to protect the infrastructure.

    Who knows.

But as always, the CNF alerts and closures site hasn't been updated in a few days.
