Middle of nowhere. About to be hammered by monsoon.
Looking uphill to the east from my backyard. That cloud is about 30 miles away. This is the leading edge of a storm that brought 24 inches of rain in 24 hours to the Hilo side: It was putting on an amazing lightning show, caught here in a time lapse video taken by the Canada/France/Hawaii Observatory people on the top of Mauna Kea.
