Does anyone have the ability or have recommendations on how to reverse the COBDR tracks from S-N to N-S starting at end of section 4 and ending at the beginning of 2?

You can load them into either Basecamp or Mapsource and invert them. Just double click on the track and select Invert in the bottom of the display pane.

If you are just following the track, you don't need to invert it. But if you are Navigating it, then inverting it would be a good thing to do.

Thank you. I am one of those older "less than tech savvy" guys. My plan is to follow the track. I just want a more heads up display of upcoming turns etc so I don't get lost. I will try the invert thing. I should be able to figure that out.

By "following the track" I mean you are just looking down at the screen to verify that you are on the track while riding. You will not get any advance notice of turns from the GPS unit. And thus it won't make any difference if the track is inverted.

Some units like my Montana allow you to navigate the track. This highlights the track with a wide brighter magenta line. You can also set the unit up to display distance to the end of the track.

I think that even in this mode I don't get advance notice of turns. Although there are some small icons on the track that I am not sure what they are. I think some are hill peaks and valleys.

In both modes I do miss turns sometimes and have to backtrack, but it is never more than half a mile.

Oh ok. I understand now. I appreciate it. I am just a little anxious because I will be out there on my own. But such is the adventure of it.
