it's exciting, i have my first grown up bike. I'm thinking patagonia/west gate would be a great ride. nothing too crazy until i get used to 600# on tourances, i think i wont have as much traction as the drz on 606's. the bike went from cochise to my garage where it has been sitting waiting for my weekend. now i get to figure out how to get photos onto advrider.

looks like i might be doing another ride with the brother in law sunday too, it'll be from coronado memorial to who knows where.
saturday ride is still open riders, anyone other than me and brian in?
we could start in sv, through west gate, hang a right to parker, take the dirt to patagonia, loop back to west gate.
or start memorial west to patagonia and back through west gate...
meet for breakfast? or save appetite for lunch?
I know with me and brian it'll be coffee and cliff bars....

I am in for Saturday. Let me know where to meet and when. Just changed the fork oil on my dove-diving bitch to a heavier oil with less air gap. Want to test it out to see how she handles before I head out to Wyoming/Colorado in a couple of weeks. Also have a new rear tire to put on. Need to burn the last little bit of tread off the current one.

Anyone have opinions of the hwy 92 cafe?

I know Chris is capable of an 0400 start, and early is cooler, but lets be reasonable ;)

I just threw my jacket in the washer to get all of the red dirt out of it from our last ride. I just realized that I will probably be following your ass around again and get it all f'd up...

Guess I should check this site more often. I may have plans for a long bicycle ride Saturday(new Ti bike to break in :D), but if I get no takers for my proposed route I may tag along with you guys.

i just called them... civilian folk with a MC endorsement can go thru, but still need atgatt and a reflective vest....

and at this exact moment, having left my car at work, i have exactly "zero" reflective vests laying around. I could grab it on the way to post easily enuf, if everyone else has something.

i hate the stupid reflective vest thing.

I'm out. Stupid f-ing job gets in the way of fun again.

I have vest in Hereford that someone could borrow, if they're coming through here.

They were out of chorizo and don't take credit cards at the H92 cafe.

But the pass was nice, the weather was great, and no parts fell off the KTM.

    Woohoo!

it was good, I was amazed that the tourances could hold on the dirt! I am looking forward to getting some more aggressively treaded tires though.
I was disappointed that my chorizo burrito didn't have chorizo.
