I'm going in from the South side of the Cohutta Wilderness and plan on coming out on FS 45 in Big Frog (there at Thunder Rock campground), and then heading up toward Cherohola and Joyce Kilmer. Is the Jack's River Bridge still out? Seems like some of the TN guys said it could be crossed anyway. That right?

Well it has been rebuilt. It was a little over 50 miles of FS road from Eton, Ga to the Ocoee river.

Thanks for the update. I've driven most of the roads up there from backpacking in the Cohuttas, but for some reason I've never taken the DS bike thru the area. I need to make a day trip out of that sometime soon. There are some great roads on the ridges on the south side of the Ocoee River. That's where the SCCA holds a ProRally event.
