Hey, ND has every easy bleeder in the world for a fan. They are not fake. Now drink your pint and be quiet.

Albie - I grew up in AL so I'm well-acquainted with AL fans. The sports section of al.com is literally one after another. ND fans? Not much interaction with them. Maybe if I were back working in Gary IN at USSteel.

They have the largest fanbase in the country and very few of them have ever stepped foot on campus, much less actually attended ND. :lol3

Agreed - everyone did a great job and it was close down to the last game.

Jurgen beat me by one point in the regular season pick 'em so it was nice to win one of these.

As we close the college football season, one final word from Lou Holtz.

(Actually, I've heard him speak and got to spend a few minutes with him during the meet and greet that followed his speech - he's actually a very, very nice guy. I watched as he shook hands with a nervous high school football coach and saw that HS coach almost melt at being called "coach" by someone who was clearly an idol to him. It was a cool moment to observe. I had to introduce the HS coach to Holtz ..... he was too nervous to even speak.)

I almost changed mine today. Not that I thought ND would win, but thinking a contrarian pick was my only hope to move up in the standings. But Jurgen's ship was sunk long ago. :lol3

Thanks bud. Trust me, it's a lot of luck - I mostly play the odds with a little guess-work and intuition thrown in for good measure.
