Depending on the score of the Oregon game, I think FSU moves up to number 2 with the way that LSU barely beat Auburn.

Any day Mizery loses is a good day.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Alabama play a tough team. I think they've gotten off easy so far this season considering Michigan will be dropped from the rankings soon. That being said, if FSU goes all the way I'm taking Alabama...big.

Alabama might not be playing a "tough" team until November. The West isn't as good as everyone expected. FSU should be favored to run the table. Oregon should be favored the rest of the year too. I'm sure someone will trip up.

Well, I'm 40-39, and don't show up on your chart. Did I inadvertently get into another group? :bueller

edit: Okay I found the problem, I got into the Yahoo Group but failed to go the next step and get into the "Jurgen" group. Oh, well!

    Hey BergerM,

Been away from trolling the computer - easy to do when we played on Thursday.

Re: kicking - it's been a issue for years.

If you recall - used to be we had a walk on kicker - Kyle Brotzman who was pretty good (held the national all time scoring record) except from the left hash mark. He blew two chip shots against Nevada - Nov 2009 - (1 at the end of regulation and 1 in OT) which cost us a potential shot at the national championship. (Yeah guys - I know - probably a pipe dream - just saying we were that close.)

Since then we got a "great" scholarship kicker. Problem is, he is third on the depth chart behind two walk on's who can't hit.

In 7 seasons Coach Pete is a 2 time Bryant winner and a Dodd winner. If he doesn't trust kicker Frischina then there is probably a good reason. And...........4X to score from the 1 yard line. Who woulda thunk - can't get it done?

Town and "Bronco Nation" are up in arms. The local call in sports radio show is a hoot. Haven't had a rebuilding year in a decade - time to get used to it. Our D is stellar but Nevada and Fresno State are gonna score - why are we in the top 25? 3 games and we haven't score an offensive TD in two? WTF?

New Mexico away next weekend. Heartburn.

    Jurgen,

Ha - hope the Boise lads stay out of the hot peppers. I like em going down (w/ice cold beer) - not so much the next am.

Sounds like NM is on the right track and Davie is coaching them up. I really have no clue whether our QB or O line will show up - spead of 26.5 seems high - I wouldn't take it right now but who knows. We are a work in progress.

RE: getting shot at the game - well ............. sounds like a hell of a tailgate. Be interesting to see if anyone gets turned in. Hard for that to happen here - last tailgate I was at I got stopped for trying to pee in the "wrong" porta-potty. :1drinkIt was reserved. A lot of cops, renta cops and security.

    Good luck!

    Go Broncos!

I'll be out on the bike all weekend, so y'all will have to hold down the fort this weekend. Conveniently, the Gators have bye while they await the LSU showdown.

Watching the PAC 12 right now...looks like an SEC game.....and that's not a good thing.

UNM hosts BoiseSt this year, minor hopes for Lobo fans of catching BoiseSt sleeping- as they are having an off year. But I don't expect UNM to win. I do think they may well cover the spread though. I just want to see UNM play four quarters of hard football and minimize mistakes.

Tulane will be hosting the very tough Louisiana Monroe. Yep the team that beat Arkansas, gave Baylor all they could handle (going by score here, didn't see the game) and lost to Auburn in OT.

Tulane is starting their third string QB- a fifth year senior who has no previous game time. :huh Too bad, Griffin their starting QB is a solid college QB, he just needed some help from a running game. He was injured in the Tulsa game.

    Go Lobos!!!

    Go GreenWave!!!!!!

Come on Baylor, beat the Mountaineers.

Can't decide who's defense sucks more, Baylor, or WV's. Kinda fun to watch though.

That last one was ugly. He was all alone for 15 yards before the catch.
