    Seriously ???
Anybody mention UF's athletic director is a Yankee ??
Typical Florida mentality to have everything run by a northerner. About as bad as having the last governor being from away.
No wonder I left the state.:eek1

    sorry, enough of that rant.

Really though, I'm glad that Georgia is in the top 10. At least I can watch them on TV up here in Maine:freaky:clap

I doubt Louisville could afford to get in a bidding war with the likes of Tenner or Arkansas. I know AR can easily pay 4-5 million for a HC. I'm sure Tenner can as well. Strongs an AR native and believe it or not gives him some recruiting pluses here. Of course it's not like the state has a lot of great high school talent to begin with. Too much segregation in the state. All the talent is in the southern half, all the money is in the northern half.

No doubt if it was just money, either SEC school could out bid Louisville, but I don't think that anyone would pay Strong 4-5 million at this stage of hid career. My theory is that he is loyal to Louisville, for now anyway, and they can afford to keep his salary competitive.

Arky is good job though and they seem to have a competent administration. They handled the Petrino situation about as well as they could. Tennessee, on the other hand has been a disaster. Fulmer, Kiffen, Dooley - every decision by that athletic department has been a comedy of errors.

Geez. I pulled for MO against GA. :flip

But, yes. The Gators have zero offense.

...and Muschamp is still a douche.

To be fair, Foley has been in Gainesville for something like 40 years. I think he's an honorary Floridian by now. On a personal level, I do not care for the guy, but his being a native Yankee doesn't have much to do with his position as AD.

imho, I really don't think living there for 40 years makes you a honorary Floridian. If that was the case over 3/4 of the state would be Floridians.
On the other hand, Mizzou did give UF a time.
Nice to see UGA heading to Atlanta again.:clap
