4 Years ago I would have agreed. The teams are much closer now than the have been in awhile. It would end up 50/50. And by the 4th game the ball boys and water boys would be out there playing because the rest of the players would be to beat up to finish.

Yep. Georgia used to own the series. Florida used to own the series. I think it's back to being a good rivalry again. Either team could win and it's usually one of the most critical games in the SEC East. The East goes through Jax. The Gamecocks will not stick around forever and Tenn will not be irrelevant forever. GA / FL should always be an important game.

found a nice gif of what happened to Barkley. hurt his right shoulder. hopefully not serious, but this was insult to injury by this point in the game when it was pretty much over. I don't know how Barr comes in unblocked. He's only our best player on the entire D.

    +1. Nice read.

Six points and Boise State would be undefeated and messing again w/the BCS. Instead Mrs. Snow has heartburn and blows her appendix while watching the San Diego State loss.

Pretty good fun. Now...........what about the Big East shakedown? Big 10...........little 14??? As much as I like Temple we need to stay in the MW and pay BYU to rejoin. :D

Really,,,, Maryland and Rutgers? WHY? $, that's why.

What do they bring to the Big Ten that we don't have?

They bring low level mediocrity, and we have plenty of that already. This is all to set up the eventual 16 team super conference. Maybe we can get Slippery Rock and Shippensberg St. Damn, this sucks.

Who is going to pay $50-80 face value to watch Maryland, Rutgers, Indiana, Illinois, Purdue and Minnesota home games?

I don't like it because CF is regional and B1G means big state schools in the mid-west.....but....

.....If Rutgers was in the B1G already, they would be playing in the Rose bowl this year...Just sayin.... These two probably bring up the quality of play.

Biology. Thanks for the kudos, but it turns out that college is actually pretty easy when you aren't skipping class to ride to NY. Who knew? :lol3

I am hearing Spurrier's name being batted around here now. Y'all don't even know how much I'd love that.

Yep. My first degree was tough but then again, it was one of the hardest majors on campus. And then I had players like Bo Jackson, Charles Barkley and Chuck Person to distract me.

The second degree was much easier. I was taking fulltime care of K7kid starting when she was only 8 weeks old while going to school at night full time for a masters. I can count the number of classes that weren't "A" on one hand.

    Amazing!

    Keep up the good work.

Funny how much easier it is if you go to class every day, and read the book.

I'm finding that out this semester. :lol3

Bubwheat is not too busy currently. The bridge would probably be safe while he is away. He could not do any worse than the last couple of HC's the Vols had and probably better. He does not have star status, other than here, so they could pay the players more.

I think Bubwheat for UTenn makes a lot of sense. Major plus, he already irritates SEC people, so it would make for instant major rivalries.

    I did look it up.

"Knoxville radio shows quickly hit the airwaves after the announcement that UT was talking to Bob Stoops, currently coach at Oklahoma, Jim Mora Jr., coach at UCLA, which on Saturday blasted Southern Cal and former Vol coach Lane Kiffin, and ESPN football analyst and former NFL coach Jon Gruden."

like I said though, these are rumors. as such, someone could throw out the name John Madden if desired.

I was disputing the likelihood of success. I believe you as to the attempt.

I stand by Tennessee being delusional.
