U ain't kidding, kinda like McCain taking Palin on as potential VP - where was the vetting?

Dead from the neck up :D

The former AD Pernetti did what he was told to do & followed RU guide lines in giving punishment to Rice. After the video comes out he loses his job for doing what he was suppose to do.

The RU president is to blame here.

Then to make matters worse, they hire this wacko broad.

This is interesting, assuming it is a valid survey

    http://www.studentsports.com/blog/2013/07/10/footballers-favorite-college/

tudent Sports surveyed over 2,000 high school football players this year and asked the following question: “If you could sign a letter of intent to go play at any school in the country, where would you go?”
Below are the results based on percentages. Note that the order for schools that are tied is based on actual result numbers. Universities that received votes but fell under the 1% mark included Boston College, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Oregon State, Temple and Virginia.
    <table id="tablepress-118" class="tablepress tablepress-id-118"><thead> <tr class="row-1 odd"> <th class="column-1">RANK

It's bemusing that Miami is so high. Makes me wonder about the national distribution of the poll.

The place has no home stadium, no real campus, mediocre support -- basically, it's missing almost all the ingredients of a successful college <s>pro</s> amateur franchise.

Plus, they've sucked for a long time. It's been ages since Miami had a bad boy image that appealed to kids. That generation now has pot bellies and does accounting for a living.

Go easy on us Hurricane fans, its been a while since we've been good.

But man did they have some players. Also many peeps might not remember, but the Gators sucked for a long time. So much so, that they stopped playing da U for awhile cause they couldn't complete. My uncle a U grad, started calling them the ducks

Yes, the difference being that the Gators have had recent success, though.

It may be beaches and bikinis, I dunno. Wasn't before Schnellenberger got there. :dunno

It's interesting that The SEC and the Pac 12 both have four in the top ten.

Berkeley? Schools like this make me wonder who they asked, and where. Berkeley's great for a guy who has no pro aspirations. But why ask that guy? What's the point?

I'm befuddled by the results and would like to see the methodology.

If you actually believe that then you are indeed just as stupid as every other Miami fan I've ever met. :lol3

The Gators indeed dropped the series, but for financial reasons as they wanted (needed?) to maintain a certain number of home games. Still bullshit, the series should have continued, but worried about competitiveness? you're delusional. :deal

Miami (of Florida)'s days are over.

Miami (of Florida) is still a name program though. They may never be good again, but they did have an historic run. That has to still register.

Hell, I was a high school football player.....but with no illusions about playing college. If they took a random sample, as opposed to likely Division I signers, who knows what the results mean. :dunno

Still interesting...especially with Florida on top :freaky

I think Clemson beat Auburn 1st week of the season last year. Auburn was aweful last year, so...

Clemson had a good year last year beating Aub & LSU. They get UGA & USCe to bookend this year.

Hey, Boise State is in the Top 20. Imagine that - a program where if you screw up, you are gone. Maybe theres hope for the younger crowd.

Or...................they really like our new black on black look. Wonder if this survey was correlated with teams uniforms, what the results would be. :lol3

hah...unfortunately I linked to the wrong page. That one was semi-serious. I've updated the link.

one to Bielema: Does it terrify people that you came from a state with more public drunkenness than ARKANSAS?
