Ok, someone had to start this thread! :y0!

So, the ACC is the dominate conference in college football, who woulda thunk it? The ACC went 8-3 in post season bowls, and were 3-1 against the SEC, and 9-4 head-to-head against the SEC all season.

Meanwhile, every other SEC team that wasn't 'Bama, finished with at least four losses. The SEC sent 12 teams to bowls, and they went 6-6. Against Power Five opponents this year, the SEC is 6-8.

Of course, SEC fans will continue to live vicariously through the Crimson Tide’s success, even though 'Bama's domination of college football is not good for either the SEC, or college football.

I feel for you SEC guys that aren't Bama fans, lord knows I've had to suffer through Brown and Strong. But, things are looking up for my 'Horns!
Looking for the 2017 season to start, it can't be too soon. :lurk

Looks gloomy? Have you been paying attention?:confused

On another note: Les Miles has been passed over again, this time for the job at Minn., and is now saying he's open to coaching outside of the Power 5. Me, I'd feel really bad that Lane got a head coaching gig before I did. :cry

Are you suggesting Les Miles is not a good coach? He has as much good, if not more good, than he has critical.

I'm not suggesting Les is not a good coach. However, those in a position to hire him have passed over him repeatedly. I wonder why? He's even starting to whine, saying he'd take a non-Power 5 job. So, why hasn't he gotten a job?

I doubt money had anything to with it. My gosh, he said he would be willing to go to a non-Power 5 team. How much money do you think they have? Most likely Saban will hire him, and rehabilitate him like he did Kiffin, and is attempting to do with Sarkisian. :bmwrider

These SEC boosters on here must be near suicidal about the state of their beloved conference. You guys are making it pretty hard to troll!:imaposer

    Rolled Tide!

    Way to go Clemson!!

2017 won't be a repeat with a Natty appearance but I think we will be back contending for another title within 5 years if Swinney stays put which I think he will. We have some great recruits coming in over the next 2 years and have reached the point of reloading rather than rebuilding.

There really isn't much parody in the NCAA. You have the powerful teams (Bama, Clemson, Buckeyes, ...) and the rest. I agree that Bama has outclassed the SEC, but look at the Big Ten. They went out and hired a bunch of good coaches to make the other teams more competitive and it is going well (despite the bowl season this year).

Be nice to see another Boise State come along and stick around for a couple decades.

Anyone who reads my stuff knows I'm far from an expert when it comes to football analysis--- but I can see a few of Les's flaws. He doesn't manage the clock well, actually does a rather shitty job of it. He doesn't adjust well in games. And he can't coach QB -- the most important position on the field-- at all.

He doesn't even show up on an inmate search. Don't know if he changed names or asked to be removed... Beyond my capabilities, needs to be an admin.

It is NativeSon or Native Son isn't it...?
