Dang UT, I didn't think you'd get a grand slam or even a homerun hire, but I thought you'd do better than a batter being beaned in the head and awarded first base while he's still loopy.

They sure did, along with stabler, Namath, Payton, Eli, so on and so forth. Shit man, the big 8/12 can’t even count aikman as he KNEW that was a career dead end and high tailed it to the PAC where they actually develop qbs. :lol3

OU QBs...Bradford showed what he can do of the first game with the Vikings......when healthy, none a more accurate passer. But he has that bad leg. Jason White had two bad legs and never could reveal his true ability.

Rumor is he's going after Enos for his OC. Could be a good combo.

Ok boys...anyone know of a sports bar in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, or nearby in Guadalajara, that would have the playoff games? It's my misfortune to have to be in Tlaq for the whole month of Jan. I'm flying out of Juarez on the 1st, and back on the 31, and I'd rather not watch the games on an app! BTW, if any of you guys are unlucky enough to share my misfortune, and will be close by, look me up, the cerveza is on me! :beer

So Oregon is the only "big" job still let open?

I'll predict an in-house hire. Just to preserve the few remaining recruits that haven't decommitted.

I'm not sure. But he has the ego for it. At Georgia, at times people thought he was driving the program instead of Richt. Except with the quality of his defenses, which disappointed at big moments IIRC.

If you're reduced to watching on a computer or tablet, you'll always find streams at reddit r/cfbstreams

While not yet seasoned, Justin Wilcox would be a nice hire. And cheap.

Where is he coaching now? I've lost track of him with all the moves in the past couple of years.

I'm thinking he's at Cal. Not sure.

Yes, he's got history with the Ducks, but I can't see him leaving a "new" job for a newer job just yet. Wouldn't look good on the resume.

He's an excellent coach with a bright future, though.

According to Oregon Live, both Wilcox and Mike Leach are on the list of possible candidates. Poaching within the conference just seems so strange and doesn't look good for Oregon or a coach that moves up or down the coast. Then again, if they win ...

Id rather see him stay at cal, I’d like to see if he can build something with the Bay Area talent.

Me too, but Uncle Phil will pay the bill if he's wanted up north.

Would it be a sideways move for Leach? Obviously Oregon has a bigger reputation. But it's not anymore of a bed of talent than Wazzu, so the recruiting challenge would be the same. Plus, he's built something in Pullman.
