I almost didn't join the group this year because I don't like sucking at something. But then I realized that picking the games makes me care more about games I wouldn't give a crap about otherwise. It helps me be more involved and interested on Saturdays. I like it.

Nothing like being the only guy in the bar cheering when some random score scrolls across the ticker. :lol3

It is weird how important checking scores becomes. :lol3

I think the absolute worst part is when you're begging for your team not to score!

    Any forecasts for this weekend?

It's wishful thinking on my part, but I'd love to see Clemson win.

Why did you guys pick Baylor in this game? ULM hasn't shown you enough this season?

SEC Arkansas looks like weak sauce, SEC Auburn is only frightening if you buy the "They are in the SEC so fear little school, really fear."

But mine was done by the might penny- thus getting it right. :lol3

I haven't watched Baylor this year without RG3 so it was a bit of a hunch, but I figured that that ULM caught Auburn and Arky at just the right time and were due for a let down. Baylor did pull it out, just fell 2 points short of covering the spread....that's why these things are tough. BU had no motivation to keep ULM out of the endzone that last drive, just slow it down enough so that there wouldn't be another drive...they did that perfectly.....selfish bastards :lol3

I thought I was sitting pretty earlier, but right now I'm 4 for 9. :cry

edit: Is Jurgen really 7 for 9 right now using the coin?

    :clap

Jurgen's picks went 2/4. The sticky penny won. :lol3 :freaky:freaky:freaky

Jurgen will continue the CoinPlus (TM) strategy. It is the smartest strategy in picking against the spread by evidence of one week. :rofl

Tomorrow I will break out the silver dollar. See if it can do as well as the penny I found on the floor (at work) did. :lol3

Get your picks in. Football world (College, semi-Pro, and Pro) has gone kind of quiet lately.

    Jurgen's non-coin picks.

Coin is a gen-u-wine Silver Half Dollar minted in 1961. I don't see a "mint stamp" on it.
