You may be lost, or simply looking for Goldilocks' favorite bar.
But if you happen to find yourself on this road, it will be without a doubt Troublesome.
Riders beware, you may find yourself with Broken Spoke.

I did find a broken spoke road in Morrison. Didnt see this wagon on it. I also think I know the bar he is talking about. But I didn't anything Troublsome about the road.

Hmm. need to figure out these clues.

Only after I searched using only the term "Troublesome" did I get a hit up in Kittredge. Thanks for the detour. I did not see any sign of "Goldilocks" or "Broken Spoke" as I putted thru on 74. Beautiful day, surprised no nobody snagged this much earlier, peoples here gots mad hunting skillz! On a football bye weekend none the less:eek1.

Nicely found! Wtf? They must change that sign pretty often. Check out this one. Maybe they host folks?

That said the reference to goldilocks was a bit of a stretch as I was talking about Little Bear saloon as Goldilocks found everything of the baby bear 'just right.'

If you haven't been, Little Bear IS just right. A helluva a spot with awesome live music!

Goldilocks reference understood, I've almost made the Little Bear a tag many times. Great spot indeed. Worked all this weekend, glad to see some FF's got out to enjoy the fabulous weather. Wish I had...

    I just noticed...
The Broken Spoke sign is actually hiding behind the "Red Velvet Ranch" sign.

Actually Little Bear did come to mind as I pondered your clues and I ended up there later to nom nom on a mountain of nachos. Apparently I am still lactose tolerant.

Nope - just added the location to the Tag above. Were you heading West on 6th at Kipling about (I forget) 1:30 or so? :dunno

Hard to see over the concrete barrier but it looked like you in a bright neon yellow jacket. If so, we passed each other right there. I was just coming back with the Tag. :deal

That was quick, did you recognize the area or clues? I think those light post were made from the old lift when it was Squaw pass ski area, quite a debate in many areas about using that term for signage on landmarks, mtns etc.
Echo no longer is in operation. It was auctioned in August and will be used as a private ski race training facility.
It was nicer today for sure. There were traces of snow up there a few days ago. I love the twisties coming from Bergen Park even given the roads patchwork asphalt.

Process of elimination. Figured there were only 2 roads that led to a 14er that were closed for season, that were within easy reach of the Front Range. Mt. Evans, or the road to Gray's/Torreys. I thought at first that it looked like one of the light poles near the chain station along I-70 near the road to Grays/Torreys, but the view and what looked liked a gravel lot didn't fit.

I knew what the elevation was going up to Mt Evans so I thought I would try that first. Wasn't sure why I would need a tomahawk to get past Old Squaw though? But that clue helped as well. I had my GPS displaying altitude as I rode up there and when I got near 10,000 feet I started looking for some sort of pull off or lighted area and there was the road to Echo Mtn. So I rode down in there and found it.

Didn't know it had been sold, didn't know that it used to be called Squaw Mountain either. So, as usual, another Tag that was fun to find, got me off the beaten path, and kept me aware of the surroundings! :thumb

Very nice. I had a hunch it was Echo Mtn./ Old Squaw Pass though Shifty's clues didn't clue me in. Similar logic to atokad's, figured it to be around Mt. Evans.

The new tag is postage stamp size on my screen. Looks like a suburban, gated, bloated, dressed to impress McMansion. I'm guessing by your clue that this is a football player/ coach's house.

We (my employer and our crew) have been working with a coach of a local team, that's not his new house but looks like CHV type of stock. I hate quarter arches and Palladian windows, brick and stone veneer with concrete tile roofs...

I'm guessing that your Sunday Night Party clue isn't this one: http://outfrontonline.com/event/gay-bowl-xii-sunday-night-closing-party/

    Any more clues???
