Do it! My work doorstep has been a tag idea of mine for quite awhile. I was planning to use it (my Humphries Mansion tag from a few months ago is directly south of my office, in our back yard...) with the caveat that the new tagger must come inside and take me to lunch. In reality, I've not ridden any of my bikes for months. The shame...

Since late August my weekends have been devoted to a large back yard project. Regrading, retaining walls, and a new deck. With only weekends to work on it I've not been riding. And frankly, commuting to Capital Hill on my bike just blows. I've already been hit by a car doing so, so, I just drive my truck in anymore.

I hope to get back into some tag action in the future. In the mean time, it's good to see you and John are mixing it up some.

    Cheers!

I have no idea how well known this stone horse is, so I have another picture from a slightly different angle, if necessary. Dirt roads are required for this one.

Haha! Well, that's what the lady in Elbert called it when she used it as a landmark while giving me directions...

... plus, it has been used as a tag before in this very thread.

and yes, I know I need to go get a tag - maybe I'll do this one again.

Did ya get inside? The volunteers who maintain that museum are really nice foks - they seem to be open mostly in the summer - but the lady I met there indicated the fella who maintains it will open it upon request if you can not meet their limited hours.

Mostly the displays relate to the early electrical development in the area - but they also have a decent map collection of the trails historically used through the area.

I didn't go inside. I was planning on taking a picture with the plaque in the main part of town, but there was a huge horse trailer parked in front of it, so I just rode down the street looking for something else interesting to tag. I'll have to bring my family up this summer and take a look at it.
