I thought about leaving it at the top of Fireman's, but figured I should make it big bike friendly.

Nothing like a vague tag to keep it in the north and not moving. Good job!

Yeah, the only OHV riding area in Boulder County (which it is most likely still in BoCo given the time between when I grabbed the tag and placed the next one). So vague two people found it in like 12 hours with no clues.... :rofl

I think the problem is it's actually up a....wait for it....trail... :huh

How bout this, drive your big ADV bike to the trail head of the LH OHV area, and I'll ride it up to the sign for you, and then back. I'll do my best to keep it clean.

    :rofl

I knew I should have left it at the Starbucks on Arapahoe... :lol3

Also, just so it's clear, I'm just giving you shit. I'm joking. If you guys want, just skip my tag.

That's at the mouth of it.. but Robert's photo is at the top of that road.

In your list - you can refer to it as "Left Hand 5-points" as that is what every hose head within 50 miles calls it :freaky

Robert: I think you should have left it at the top of Fireman's hill :D :ricky

It is a hoot up there at night!

I went looking for it today up LH. Froze by arse off and figured it was up past the entrance. Had the Scrambler pointed up the trail but pussed out. :asshat

Good tag I say - especially at night!

I'd be on that like white on rice if not for:

    1) Momma's outta town, flying rich people around, and we've got a couple'a youngin's that need lookin' after.

    2) I'm skeered to ride my big ADV bike off... wait for it...road.:eek1

    3) You northern guys are meanies! :deal

Yeah, the sign is past the entrance. It's the second "I" symbol in the middle of this map. It's right at the top of the green trail that takes you in from the road. The bottom right corner is where you come in at from the road:

The main trail is doable on just about any bike.

Just curious, as the only trail I have ridden off road in the Boulder area is the Switzerland trail, how does this compare to that trail?

    Rob,
No need to ride my bike for me, but thanks for the offer.
I guess you missed my tag on the top of Mosquito Pass a few years ago on my Strom.

It's harder than Switz, but only because you're actually climbing. There is a little rocky area before you get to the gun range, but it's wide, and you can skirt all the big rocks. Also, there are two tighterish (for big bikes) uphill switch backs.

I used to take <strike>my 990</strike> Hellsickle's 990 there a lot and didn't think it was too bad, but I also used to ride <strike>my 990</strike> his bike on stuff like this, so I :dunno

    <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/rtadlock/5715693575/" title="We stopped here on Cane Creek by rtadlock, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3645/5715693575_1553c40495_b.jpg" width="1024" height="768" alt="We stopped here on Cane Creek"></a>

At any rate, shoot me a PM of when you're thinking of tagging it, and I'd gladly show you the way.

I've had my 950 up there many times.. going to 5 points is no problem. If I took my time I could ride my 1976 R90/6 upto 5 points (on street tires).

BEYOND 5 points things get interesting :ricky

This is what it loos like in the day (archive photo - not a tag).

Sounds like there are plenty of guys willing to grab this tag but for future reference, rule #3 says it can be on dirt or gravel but must be able to be ridden to on a STREET bike.....or have I misread it and it CAN be reached on my Venture?

    Mile Hi
I think you can get this...... Dang, byebye tag again. :-)
If its no go, I'm going to say the trailhead entrance will be the alternative for street guys or scared guys.
Pass the peace pipe around again, everything is good with this tag.
    Tag On!
