It's not a wild card. You have to get the right one. This cruiser is parked here 24/7. If for some odd reason it's gone just wait. It's the DMV. Ha :-)

There was a sign that said there was a Village of 4 Lakes nearby. Didn't see any lakes but I did find this just around the corner.

Why did you get a Fallen Hero's plate just to cover it over with a DFD (Denver Fire Dept) sticker???
They make Firefighter Plates if you are one, and it seems kinda wierd to buy that FH plate and cover it.
I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box, but this is just doesnt make sense and seems strange to me.

    I'm the broken crayon :-)
Ill get back to you after wheel of fortune, dinner and a beer

    Ok
The state has not made the FF plates available in MC size so that's not gonna happen. I have had the full size and picked up this neat Pagosa FF plate at a swap meet few years back
    [IMG]

Also I like to do my own thing. Dont hurt your brain trying to figure it out
    and this wasn't available
    [IMG]

And on a more personal note.....other than Lt. Montoya, who died after i left the dept. all of this happened while I was a Denver Cadet or Fireman.
Maybe we will meet face to face and share stories someday.
    Peace Assfault

I have been to 4 DFD Firefighter Line of Duty Death funerals in the past 14-years. Engineer Mark Langvardt was killed in 1992 at a commercial building fire. Firefighter Doug Konecny was killed in 1993 by a single gun shot, fired from a 38-calibre handgun, when he climbed a short ground ladder to a second floor window of a house on a welfare check. Firefighter Bob Crump was killed in 2000, forcefully pulled into a storm drain by waters from a flash flood; he drowned. And Assistant Chief Charlie Drennan Jr., was killed in 2001, shot to death by a fellow firefighter he was attempting to counsel and assist with personal problems. On Thursday, May 25, 2006, I stood at attention with other chiefs and members of DFD Engine Co. 23, Engine Co. 24, and Tower Ladder Co. 28, as the funeral procession of Lt. Rich Montoya passed by our firehouse on south Federal Boulevard.

Someone better go get that fast to keep me from getting there first. I have to ride past there in the morning anyway, and if I do . . . . I'm riding all the way to Wyoming afterward. Who KNOWS how far north that next tag might be! :deal

Just as well. I suspect you'll find that gate in the photo closed at night anyway (or I'd have been there already for a night-time pic. :nod)

That would have been a long ride from COS for a picture of the wrong side of a gate! :lol3

Good thing Haasenpfeffer doesn't play this game. He lives like five minutes away. Doubt he's ever been there, though. He's a good Methodist kid.

Nice! Was the gate closed? It looked like it might be possible to sneak in on the sidewalks. :huh

Well if you are agreeing to my daytime photo to make the Tag "official" then this can't be the next Tag! Booyah! :photog (even thought it is the official next Tag 'cuz if we did the day/night rule the Tag could sit forever)

I could always see the peak of this steeple when I was heading West on C470 at the University exit and today made for a good excuse to finally go see what it was. Interesting how they put this steeple (minus the statue on top) on all of their churches. This must be one of the District Temples or something like that. Beautiful place.
