I live in Alaska, and my DL650 is registered up here, but the bike is currently stored in a storage in Orlando.
It's 2006, red & black, with around 8000 miles on (not sure, I did not quite plan on selling it last time I was in Florida, so I did not check the mileage).
It's in excellent shape, except for minor scratches when I laid it down (not moving, my foot slipped on gravel on the top of asphalt and down we went, lol)... It comes with hand warmers and hard case locking givi bag (awesome for a lap top!).
It will be available to look at and buy in March, that's when we plan on going down to Florida...
    Please PM me!

Great thread! I'm kicking around coming down in February to camp and dual sport for a few days. Which national forest has the most to offer for a light street legal dirt bike? From what I can tell, the money's on Ocala. :ear

Just transplanted to West Palm area and haven't had any luck finding any Dual Sports or Enduro Events (also looking for great trails). Lots of info on this thread but all events up north (although the Ocala riding looks like a blast). Any help would be apprecaited.

    Hey yall,
we're heading down from Ontario to check out bike week and wondering what the scoop is for "local" rides and accomodations.
We're not staying at Daytona for too long just riding around as much as we can. Nothing prebooked but we're packing camping gear so we can check out some local parks.
    Any recomendations are appreciated.

Soooo, if a guy was going to rent a car in Miami and he and his wife wanted to go to Key West just to check it out would he put his foot to the floor and go straight to the end of the road ? Are there some things I should look forward to on the way there ? Should one stay out of town or spend the bucks to stay right there? I must say I don't really know the size of the place at all. Saw the Keys out the window of a plane one day. That is the bulk of my knowledge.:1drink
She and I are not drink till we wobble any more but don't want to risk any driving around. Transit good there as far as hotle/motels to town ?
    Thanks?

Anyone know of any good places to ride around Niceville? All the trails I know of are really sandy and I'm looking to learn on something easier that's not too far from home.

I just retired from the Navy and moved to Homestead. I'm going to be using my G.I. Bill to go to MDC to get my RN. I MAY be off-loading my F650GS and getting a smaller, more off-road oriented DS.

There aren't many places to ride an off road oriented ds in SFL. You mght want to keep the 650. I didn't realize how bad it was until moving to CFL last year:clap

    Good luck on your education.

Thanks! A lot of my thinking has to do with switching to a lighter, simpler (read: less expensive to fix and maintain) bike, and I won't have a street-only bike if I can only have one. If it was possible, I'd have more than one bike, but I just can't afford it.
