Make that pickup an egg salad two-tone '66 with the Alaskan that camper so resembles and that could be my grandparents, Paul & Lola Hawkinberry in their driveway at 400 W Ohio Ave in Denver, a location we set out on many camping trips from in the early '70's.
Put a pitchfork in his hands and it's American Gothic.
These things used to be the mainstay of the Northern Territory Police Force (and probably still are).
With a Grant woodrim steering wheel it'd be perfect.
That pic makes my eyes well up, what a great picture.

Ok, everyone keep quiet for a bit. JJ is right now.

YaBut it's a GMC. Sierra Classic makes it more shiney.
This truck gets used around the work property these days. The old V-6 is long gone and a SBC with one of our gear drives is in it now. Notice the homemade extended cab. The boss/owner is tall. Dump bed as well.
That one might have a leaning tower of power.
I recently picked up a Hotchkiss rear sway bar for my 98 pickup from a guy that drove one of those to the meeting place.
I remember how badly I wanted one of those trucks when they first came out. Even stock, it was something of a factory hot rod. In the end, I bought a new DR350S instead. It seemed more practical to keep the W-200, since it was already paid for and buy a motorcycle instead.
