This is just a 'heads up'. A mate, from the ACT and not on here, is in the formative portion of a ride to Coonabarabran. Obviously, a bit of a support effort for the people who've suffered from the fires. At this point there are no firm commitments. He's assessing interest. The proposal is for * an April or May date; * donation of $30 into a kity; * estimated $10 for camping that's as far as it goes. I'd expect a mixture of riders - bitumen & all-road tourers mostly. May there be any interest out there? We made a pretty good weekend of it when a few of us went to Marysville. Put quite a few dollars into the town and that was appreciated. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=491817&highlight=Marysville+recovery PS I recognise that people around Seaton have suffered too but, this idea was commenced last week. It's not my place to suggest the idea be expanded.
