So cheap its tempting. However I dont see a tag or turn signals. I'm gonna guess there is no title.
I bet it is the newest vehicle in Ponce De Leon.
Ding Ding Ding. I emailed the guy and he said no title. "Its clean though". No thanks.
Where does one even (legally) ride a non-tagged bike anymore? I ask because I see so many cheap dirt bikes for sale. Yet dual sports, even old beat ones are rarely under $2k
I can get a bonded title in Georgia for 100 to 200 bucks. I don't think they cross check among states for liens. From my experience they must not for vins. I have never had anything stolen found by the law....imagine that. I have an address and a bed in a guest house if anyone wants to come and title it. You can see my agent in town and apply for a bonded title. I got one on an 04 ninja 250 for 100 bucks.
I'd take this deal if I wasn't so broke...
Honda vfr 750 was a street fighter project , all parts to finish.. no time
Lookin for a cheap old fart (I'm 61) rig for puttin around my lake place in Salt Springs ONF. This thing work in deep sand? Any grunt down low or would you have to keep it screaming, on the pipe the whole time? http://orlando.craigslist.org/mcy/4127666002.html
Not too many places on the western end of the FL Panhandle to ride a non-tagged bike. Clear Creek OHV area (adjoining Whiting Field) will perhaps be open soon, lotsa fingers crossed. Boggs and Boulders up near Andalusia AL is non-tagged dirtbike friendly. There's an OHV area in Apalachicola NF too. That's about all I can come up with in my vicinity
what's a "bonded" title? Is that for a vehicle you've lost the title to, or a vehicle that NEVER had a title (like a dirtbike sold new in FL prior to 2001)?
That wouldn't be terrible, but would still need to keep the revs up a little. I had an 81 PE175 a few years back...rode FTR evo on it. It was all stock, and while it wasn't hard to handle in the sand, I found myself constantly searching for more low end torque. If you're just putting along, wouldn't be bad at all. With that said, the stock suspension on those, for lack of better terms, suck. That's a cool little rig; small fuel range (think 50 or less miles most likely), so make sure ya got a buddy or extra fuel to carry.
No explanation needed. It's Custom Built.
Mostly composed of Kryptonite and Cool-aid...!
Custom built! Really?
I thought I saw these at Wal-Mart on sale!
Does that thang have a kickstarter?
Bitch, I told you
Speaking of kickstarters... did ya get it yet?
A week ago I posted that Phil had lost his kickstart lever.
So what does Dr Z do .... he sends me one... cause Freebornman gave it to him, and we needed one.
How is that for Chuckleheadery (and some overriding ADV Spirit).
Yes I received it Saturday and THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
BTW -when can I expect the bolt and washer that holds it on!
I think you might be SOL on that one.
