I love perusing the ads on Craigs: good memories, yucks, spelling atrocities, plenty of sighs (will I EVER get a Ducati or just dream about them?)...but when things get serious, I hit up www.crazedlist.org :eek1 which allows searching the whole country (or just parts). Great way to find out what things are "going for" or answer the question, "just how far would I go for that bike I can't live without?"

Only problem with this thread is that for us peeps with too much time on our hands who want to go back historically, all the CL listings get deleted.

One of the nicer CL finds I've come across recently. Always wanted one just for the looks. Not the most practical of bikes maybe, but wow what a ride...got a note from the seller they are down to $1500

    :rofl

so what part of it is 'triumph'? as a honda motor wont just 'bolt in' a triumph frame.

I dont know how many times I had people tell me they had a harley, but it had a honda motor in it. when I tell em no, its a honda, they get all upset.

thats a good deal on the 47 chief tho!

    People are ridiculous.

One time my friend offered me a Dr Pepper, and I walked over, and it was a Dr Thunder. "Woman," I said..

no, Dr Thunder would be like a harley with a revtech motor in it.
if it had a honda motor in it, it would be fruit punch
