Dang I hate to see pics like this
1970 Suzuki T500 - $1000 (Richmond)
1970 Suzuki T500
engine displacement (CC): 500

1970 Suzuki T500 Complete and original. Runs but needs some TLC
$1000 for a T500?? In '75 they were $999 brand new off the showroom floor.
Well, for someone looking for one in original condition it is not unreasonable. Would take a serious want to spend that, though.
> $1000 for a T500?? In '75 they were $999 brand new off the showroom floor.
I understand the sentiment but it is really a meaningless comparison. Look how much a Vincent Black Shadow cost originally.
And Z-1s like the one I bought new in 1975 for $2450 are selling for 3 or 4 times that now. Did you have a point ?
$1000 in 2016 dollars $4,557.32 so not a bad price if it was near to me I would grab it.
A grand for a decent T500? Would sell quick in New England. In Olde England would sell for 3 times that amount easy.
This is quietly waiting near Charlotte NC to ruin one of your lives, for only $600...
Quick, someone buy it before I drink too much beer this weekend and decide that I need a project.
The fuel tank on that CBX shows the obvious neglect of letting stale fuel linger too long in the tank:
Water in the fuel settles to the lowest point, and the oxygen in water quickly attacks the bare metal below the fuel line. Yamaha Vision 500s also suffered many a similar bad fuel fate.
Not to me it would,nt ,they where a dog in the seventies and I bet they ain,t got any better....
Wonder if this is a price error...
If it weren't 5+ hours away I would find out by showing up with cash and a trailer. Probably a legit price. It's the 1WD model.
And the seller is not even suggesting that you chop it or bob it!
1954 bsa b31 $700 firm - $700
1954 Bsa b31
Plucked this up recently. Up for sale is a rare old 1954 bsa b31. Brought over to America in the late 60s/70s from a man in the air force.
The engine is seized as of now. The petrol tank will need to be replaced along with the wheels and muffler. it's a 500cc single. There are no scrapes or dents. The fenders, frame and front end are all in very restorable condition. All the gauges and lights are intact and not cracked. This bike is an excellent candidate for restoration. This bike is very original and unmolested and it'd be cool to see it go to someone who values that.
Thanks for looking,
Your chance to get in on the "Twingle" craze. Be the first to chop/bob one.
1962 Sears Allstate Puch Motorcycle - $1000 (Amelia)

Stunted 01 Honda F4i - sell- trade for 250cc - $1100 firm
2001 Honda F4i
title status: clean
2001 Honda 600 F4i / Sell or Trade for Ninja 250 (must have title and run)
This bike cranks but wont start.
I was rebuilding it for the lot but want to get my wife a 250 instead. It has a tittle that says 1800 mils on the engine but i think it has a lot more. she needs a head gasket it leaks water i would recommend just slapping a new engine in it and start riding. this bike is perfect for parts to freshening up your stunt bike or start building a new 1.
New wire harness (all sensors bypassed)
Frame straight and no cracks/dents
New 905 crash cage
60+ tooth sprocket
shorted stalk pipe
forks don't leak
new spark plugs
starter (needs 1 wire Soldered)
chain has rust from rain
tank is ugly as hell
rear seat bracket broken
sub-frame is beat up
needs stunt levers
$1100 firm or trade for a newer style ninja250 (must have title and run)
Shouldn't that be in Dumbarse of the Week thread?
"stunt rider training bike, only been down about 50 or so times. Routinely pegged the rev limiter with no problems, yet Steering head bearings POUNED into the races, may have some fork issues."
Nice one lacking only original pipes and, evidently, a valid inspection sticker.
1982 Yamaha XJR Seca 650 - $1700 (N. 21st Street)
N. 21st Street at M Street
1982 Yamaha XJR Seca 650

This bike runs beautifully and has been incredibly reliable as its been very well kept. I bought it from its original owner a few years ago who garage kept the bike for almost its entire life.
It's got a low maintenance shaft drive. Inspection ready.
