I wonder what's up with the ad stating a different mileage than what the odometer shows?

1987 Cagiva Alazzurra / Ducati Pantah - $3200 (West End)

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

    1987 Cagiva Alazzurra

    condition: excellent
    engine displacement (CC): 650
    fuel: gas
    odometer: 15500
    paint color: red
    title status: clean
    transmission: manual

I hate to sell this bike, but I have too many and I want a 4 wheeled project that I can work on with my son.

Since I've owned it, I've done the following:

    1- fixed a leaking base gasket ($100 + labor)
2- adjusted the valves to the perfect spec. ($150 + My Labor)
3- replaced the belts ($40 + My Labor)
4- new chain and custom rear sprocket ($80 + My Labor)
5- upgraded stainless steel brake & clutch lines and hardware with speed bleeders ($180 + My Labor)
6- rebuilt the ignition sensor wires ($30 + My Labor)
7- powder coated the exhaust ($100 + My Labor)
8- brand new battery ($65 + My Labor)
9- rebuilt the carbs ($60 + My Labor)
10- rebuilt the key ignition switch. ( + My Labor)
11- replaced the leaking petcock and fuel hoses. ($130 + My Labor)

I've REALLY enjoyed working on and riding a true Italian cult bike. I don't have to sell it, but it's time to move on.

For those of you who don't know the significance of the Cagiva name, Ducati was bought by Cagiva in the mid 80's. They changed the name to Cagiva for 2 or three years, but realized more people knew Ducati and changed it back. In that brief time they re-badged the Pantah as the Alazzurra and make it a 650cc bike. It's the only model of the Pantah motor that is close to 650 so it's become a popular bike for vintage track days in the sub-650cc class.

You can read up a bunch about this bike on the Internet. They are very reliable and super fun to ride. All the known maintenance issues have been taken care of. Clean and clear title in my name.

Negotiations in person only. Don't email with "will you take...?"

The best part of this bike is that it's a Ducati and has that distinct 2v rumble and sounds mean! The bonus is that it's SUPER cheap insurance because it's a vintage bike and it's not know to the insurance companies as a Ducati so it's in a different class.

Test rides with full asking price in cash in my hand. You break it, you buy it.

Cash or PayPay Gift only. I will strap to a pallet if you want to ship it. Pick-up preferred.

Will consider a trade for a 1960's Nissan Patrol in any condition, a pre 1967 Volkswagen Beetle, or potentially any other vintage Datsun, Nissan, or 4x4 (Bronco, Scout, FJ40) Can add cash if your item is worth more.

    1971 Triumph Trophy 250 Scrambler - $1900 (Petersburg)

Barn find old school Triumph Scrambler. All original except left clutch lever and cable, battery. I fired her up and she runs, but petcocks leak badly. Clean VA title. Perfect restoration candidate for a very unique street legal 250 scrambler. She is old school though, with right side shift lever and left side brake pedal. Please don't make me offers unless you're standing with me and we're looking at the bike. Someone is going to love this bike. I just don't have the time to restore it to perfection.

    1983 Honda Ascot VT500 - $1700 (North Chesterfield)

    1983 Ascot VT500

    engine displacement (CC): 500
    fuel: gas
    odometer: 21000
    transmission: manual

Time to part ways with my 1983 Honda Ascot VT500. This bike is turn-key, ready to ride, and everything works. Here are the details.

    Liquid-cooled 500cc
    6-speed transmission
    Shaft Drive
    Sargent seat cover
Correct side covers, all mounting studs intact
    Carburetors cleaned last year
    K&N Air Filter
    +1 size main jets
Pilot air screws turned 2.75 turns out
Starts easily, runs strong in all gears, doesn't need choke, transmission shifts smoothly
Gauge needles are a little shaky, but are accurate
Could probably use a new rear tire within 1000 miles

The mileage on the gauge cluster is NOT ACCURATE. The bike had just over 20,000 miles when I got it, and then then the tachometer gauge needle broke in half. This is common on bikes of this era because the plastic ages and gets brittle. I bought a used gauge cluster and installed it, but I never changed the mileage. Buyer will receive photos of the prior gauge cluster when on the bike, and also photos of the new cluster before it was installed.

The following items are included with the bike:

    Center stand (never installed)
    Original gauge cluster
    Shop repair manual
    Aftermarket round headlight
    Rear brake pads (never installed)

These bikes are getting harder to find in this condition. This one is ready to ride now, and It's a really fun bike.

The price is $1700. I will need to hold the full asking price in cash for any test rides. If interested, please call, text, or email. Thanks!

For sale is my 1996 MZ Skorpion, a very rare mid-nineties European sportbike. Light, agile, with a pretty low and narrow seat. The motor is a 660cc water-cooled Yamaha single with a 5-valve head.

This bike is pretty rough around the edges, consistent with being a 20-year-old bike. Plenty of non-stock parts, but that's to be expected because many of the model-specific parts (bodywork, formed hoses, things like that) are hard to find. Don't let that scare you though, the running gear is all from mainstream European component suppliers and Yamaha, so consumables and spares aren't super hard to find.

The dash was replaced at some point by one of the PO's with a small digital unit.

The battery will need to be replaced asap, it is only holding a surface charge.

Harley Davidison BLIMP very Unique collectible OBO - $775 (Bon Air)

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Laumic at Buford
    condition: good
    size / dimensions: 25ft 10ft 8ft

Just bought it on a whim i don't ride motor cycles, but I know Harley Davidson is an American favorite.

There is a YouTube video of it search for. " Harley Davidson blimp for sale. " that should take you to it

I did have to patch some places. The auction I got it from just used clear packing tape, lol. I bought the correct professional repair tape, not cheep. I show those spots in the vid and pictures

It's about 25 ft long, maybe 10ft high and 8 to 10ft wide. i'm guessing. It can be folded up into something about 3x3x3 and lifted by one person that way. It has all the ropes to handle it if you really were to fill it with helium and fly it.

I devised a way to inflate it using some rubber hose and a leaf blower as you can see in the pictures. It takes about 30 minutes to inflate it with air. Of course it will not float up in the air that way. I have not timed how long to deflate it.

I was thinking some company or club might want it or maybe even a serious collector, it is very unique.

I have it patched up but I can't promise how long it will last that way, etc. you have to buy it "AS IS, WHERE IS" . When you get up close it is dirty and i'm not sure you can clean that material, but from a distance looks cool :)

If it finally fails as a Blimp, you can always cut out the Harley Davidson emblem and use it as a banner or flag, or cover for your Hog or Hogs , etc. a unique item and material for a re-purposing project, if nothing else.

I am just testing the interest level here, but I think I will put it on ebay very soon and let the chips fall where they may

Also, I would be willing to travel up to 50 miles to meet someone @ .50 per mile

FYI, I was told to fill it with helium for it's size it might cost around $700 to 800.00.

Selling my very rare and collectible Kawasaki KZ1300 six cylinder motorcycle. This model was only made for a few years. It's a very smooth and very powerful motorcycle, thanks to its 6 cylinder, water cooled, shaft drive power train. The motor produces 120 horse power, and of course has legendary Kawasaki reliability. The odometer just rolled over to 30,000 miles, and has many miles remaining to be ridden. Dig out your old 8 track tapes, or I'll include one of mine, as this bike has a factory installed AM/FM 8 track stereo radio and it works great. Kawasaki is one of only 3 major motorcycle manufacturers, of which I'm aware, that have built and sold 6 cylinder motorcycles, Honda and Benelli being the other two. I've owned and enjoyed it for 5 years and it's time to let someone else have fun with it. Just installed a new battery, flushed and bled the hydraulic brakes and changed engine oil. Call my cell phone 973-647-0326 for more info.
