"Bike in great shape. Bought it 4 years ago with 12000 miles. Now have 15000. No problems I just don't ride it "
Thats a problem.
You never sat on a salesman's chair at a dealership listening to the trade in expected values ... right?
If I had a real job, I would buy this:
"a very nice r80 with minor modifications, single corbin seat with cowl, mini fairing, new mufflers(not shown) and top end rebuild. runs great, 5 speed about 500 miles on tires. have many parts to return to stock condition included."
No affiliation with the seller, but the bike looks pretty clean in the photos.
that is a nice bike, looks like a very fair price
I'd like to have this one:
1990 BMW K75 with fairing, 750 cc, garaged, 45,000 miles, locking hardbags, extra windshield, 2 helmets, 45 mpg. Runs well, but needs a little work. Known flaws: failed state inspection due to short in blinker in fairing, the rear shock is leaking a bit and will need replaced. Feel free to email and leave a phone number to call for more information. Note, Kelly Blue Book values this at around 2800. Will take 1800 cash OBO.<!-- START CLTAGS -->

That looks like a nice one, Sigh.
It is indeed and I may be wrong but I think that $5000 would be about right.
