Definitely deserves a pic....
Someone grab these 2 65 R60s
r50/2 conversion w/ r90/6 motor in NC $4999
That looks to be quite a good deal.
Hey, I was going to re-post that!
That's a great deal for an LS.

@Jim Day !!??
Ohhh Man I wish I could do that. Too many projects backlogged to take that on.
Agreed. I inquired about a price for the bike and the chair, but no reply yet.
FYI: He wants 7k for the pair. Which I really don't think is crazy for what it is. It's just a little too far away for me to bite at that price/condition/build quality. If it had a /2 or /5 speedo, maybe. /6 and up speedos are just an eye sore to me on those bikes, and wouldn't be a cheap thing to swap out. If it was local though I'd at least go check it out in person, and probably talk myself into it if I could get him to about 6500 for the pair. Just my opinion though.
Just popped up again:
I think $1200 cheaper than last time
Parts lot in Nashville. Thinking of dropping in and seeing it tommorow.
No title on the R65, and he seems to value the /5 front end and wheel the most.
What's it all worth?
Just my opinion,..... In just BMW parts, there's not a lot there that's worth anything. It might be all good stuff but how much can you use or sell? The fairing isn't worth anything but takes up a lot of storage room. The /2 solo seat (depending on it's brand) is a good useful or sellable item. The rear fenders aren't worth much but the front fender is. It would have been nice if the fork brace was on the /5 forks, with the brace and axle, you could see if they were straight.
Without looking at the parts real close, I'd say they were worth $600 - $800. The R65, if it's running and titled should have an offer of $1500 - $2000, less if it's not running or titled. So, I think a fair offer would be about $2100 to $2500 for the whole kit and kaboodle.
Getting a title in TN is easy for a bike that's over 30yrs old. Read up in a certificate of ownership. I know the seller. He's a good dude.
just popped up on another thread...
52K, 5100 bucks
I'm going to guess... "was running when parked" .... and "needs carbs tuned."
