Those Acerbis hand guards add ALOT! :)
I won a new one of those in a contest, spent all kinds of $$ on it trying to make it into a real dualsport bike: motor, cam, piston, carb work, fork and shock and seat and tank. On and on.. Was still a turd in the sand! But it got me through LA B to V (barely, busted a piston ring land!)
Finally bought a real dual sport bike, XR600R with plate. Sold the DSturd bike. I had to start it for the new owner, hold the clutch in and handed it to him as he took off down the hill in a pounding rain storm at night. Never saw it again, good riddance!
And adding that quote to my sig. Hope you don't mind.
66 BSA, $1200. Looks awesome
Damn, that's a steal! Hope someone here picks it up.
Hewby's father would probably love to have this to ride over here when he comes to visit...
That would be way cool - what a great surprise for him!
D'oh! Already deleted. Either it sold, or it was bogus
If you picked it up, it's not a shame to admit it publicly. Just saying...

Trust me, if I had picked it up, I'd be showing it off...
I was eyeing it as well. If I had a garage, I probably might have snagged it. Thankfully I didn't, my wallet thanks the soul who did the deed
I'd spend 1500 bucks on booze,,pretend that I had that bike,,fall down a flight of stairs, and it'd be the same damn end result!,,,oww!,,now I hurt all over!
Reasonably priced airhead:
I found a 82-86 750 interceptor in Sunnyside if you are interested I can PM you the number on the for sale sign.
Thanks for the offer!..... Why does this stuff pop up when we have no cash?
Because we have no cash from the last piece of crap that popped up, when we did have cash!
Holy crap. It's not a remarkable deal but what a rad GS! One of the few GS's that I'd happily trade mine for.
