Check these out, quite a bargain on the first one. I can't tell if the one in Napa is $1900 or $2100, but I'll bet you could negotiate a deal... :rofl

Selling my 1988 Honda NX650 dual sport bike. This bike starts right up and is tons of fun to ride. I have spent $1,015 in new parts since 2004 and have only ridden it about 300 miles in that same time. Always stored inside my garage and will include motorcycle cover with it(moto jack in pictures not included). Here are the things I've done to the bike:
2004:rebuilt front disc brake caliper, new front brake pads, new front & rear tires, new front & rear tubes, new chain & chain sliders, new battery, new K&N air filter, rebuilt front forks, new turn signals & turn signal relay, new piston rings. Cleaned and greased axle, suspension & steering head bearings.
2006: New CDI(computerized digital ignition box), new coil.
    2008:New top end gasket,new valve guide seals,new clutch(fibers/steels/springs)

I don't want to get rid of this bike because it is a great bike to ride and I've spent alot of money on it, but I need to make some room to work on my car. Email me with any questions, or give me a call(no texts please).
I will try to be available anytime you want to check it out...serious lookers only....NO lookeyloous!! This bike is worth more -- NO lowball offers.

    Tom

Very Clean Dual Sport bike. Docile, reliable and looks great but will do 100mph. Runs very well. Starts easily every time. Factory rack. Only imported for two years. Beautiful and almost 60 lbs. lighter than the TransAlp with a better power to weight ratio. Easy to handle and comfortable to ride. New battery, well maintained, very good tires. One of the best commute bikes you can buy.. Legal on or off the road. Easy, convenient and fun with great gas mileage. You’ll love it.

    The plot thickens...
I emailed the seller of the 990 Adv. S and I got this response:

Good day,the bike is in great condition, has been properly
maintained, has never been laid down or abused in any way.I live in United States but currently I am with work in Italy I really hate to sell my bike but you know how bad is now with this financial crisis. I am in army in Italy and my wife does not have money so i really need to sell my bike urgenlty It has a clear title and the price I`m selling it for is $2900, which is including all charges. I sell it so cheap because I've moved out to Italy with my work for the next few months and I can`t afford the luxury of taking the bike with me so I decided to let it go. I`m using a third party company called GLOBAL EXPRESS LTD. to sell this bike, I left it at their warehouse before leaving to the Italy. They are supervising the entire sale process from payment, shipping with a 14-day inspection period, returns (if needed) and refunding. If you want to purchase it, let me know and I will explain you how GLOBAL EXPRESS works and how we can move forward.

What does anyone else think? Scam? :topes ?
For me, this has just been something I'm following out of curiosity. I'm a college student living off of the GI Bill so I can't afford a new bike anyway. If anyone else is interested in the bike, I'd say to proceed with caution. If someone goes through with it and it's not a scam, well, I hate you.:dizave:D

    SCAM???!!! :eek1

How can you say that about our humble Guido? I'm sure to believe that he is in Army in Italy along with his work that he had to return to Italy for to do. :evil

Yeah, I guess the Nigerians realized that they'll have to use another country or no-one will be fooled. :cry

It'd be fun to string this guy along like they do over here - see how much asskissin' he'll do before he figures it out. :pot :poser

    Your kidding about the scam...........right?

Just sent a draft for the amount of $2,900 to a bank in Italy today. Bike is supposed to be delivered for FREE this Thursday. Spoke with the shipper.

Oh, by the way, I won the 14 million in the Canadian lottery and some guy in Africa asked me to become his partner in a diamond mine. What a week. Cheap bike and made a couple of million in the process...................

    "1985 650 Elefant Enduro only 3,200 miles
This was a great bike and I had a lot of fun on it. Nothing like passing cars on the highway with a dirt bike. great for busting across the state and then turning off on some fire road in the mountains.

My screw up I let her sit in the garage for way too long. It always ran great for me. Now it needs a lot of love to go through the fuel system and give her a good clean up. Never went down but a few of the plastic parts need replacing from breakage during transport.

If you want a one of a kind enduro that feels like a vinatge ferrari on two wheels this baby is for you.

Make me an offer I cannot refuse and she is yours. "
