is it your ad?
Yes, it sure looks like it. That's a no-no, no?
This, I find amusing:
"We have a baby on the way, and the only way for me to add another bike is to sell one... Possible trades for a street legal EXC, WR250, Ducati 848, or Paul Smart will be considered. "
Uhhhh...if you have a baby on the way and you have to sell a bike to make ends meet, you don't need a Ducati. Just sayin'. Besides...a Paul Smart for an over-priced F650???
yeah it kinda is, finding deals for folks sure but pimpin your own stuff is a
we have a FM for that and even there we don't allow CL ads
if the OP can edit if it is his then cool...
The threads intention is to point out great deals to other inmates, not to pimp your own ad (you could have posted the link and no text none of us would have been the wiser right?)
very hard to weed that stuff out, so the collect "we" just hope folks are honest and if they are sneaking their own ad in they should give an inmate a good deal
I do see others doing it, so I just hope it doesn't get out of hand otherwise we will start to have low post spammers dropping in CL ads in here. If that happens the thread goes bye bye
You're right it doesn't. I inferred a different meaning, I reckon. However, in my experience, it's a fairly common Craigslist plea to future buyers to mention that the sale of a bike is due to a pending baby and then want to trade. It's up there with "never been in the rain, never off road, adult rider...."
Uh, aren't those 1400 Kaws about $ 14,000? I thought $ 9300 sounded decent for a near new one. It's not mine.
Since space is limited, an EXC would take up much less room (in the living room ) than the F650.
that was in the flea market here a while back! Cool machine!
I wonder if he wants a pre-owned wife...
Shit - I should start a thread for this........if I had the space right now
shit, if it was the red multi color, I'd be all over it
Buuut, you can't ride right now, canya?
The dude can start a collection can't he
Now if I can find a cheap rukus for warped next year
Here's a coupla Cagiva Gran Canyons
I'm sure I can search, but does anybody have any advice/experience on dealing with interstate or long distance sales? Specifically, purchasing a bike that you've never physically seen. It's a risk, but I'd fly and ride.
3 bikes I can't ride, 4 bikes I can't ride; what's the difference???
Sometimes you can find an ADV'r in the area to check it out for you
Might be easier to find if you searched for a ruCkus
I had the local dealer go check it out. Paid for it (credit card for an hour's shop rate) but if there was something mechanically wrong when I got there, after the shop guy checked it out, at least I had someone to talk to about it. I justified the expense as a little insurance policy against getting ripped off completely. I did a ride (the train) and ride and loved it. It was quite an adventure.
If I had the money, I'd probably buy it. Looks like early 950's are coming waay down in price.
Thanks! I haven't thought of that...good idea. I am secretly wishing that I will have to get out of the the State to buy a GC so I can justify a mini adventure.
"Really, Honey...the only one in the country for sale is in Maine. "
