Rare collectors bike. This is an early trials bike i have had for a while and is time to sell so someone else can enjoy. Runs perfect. NO BLUE AT ALL. Original steel tank no leaks or repairs. Original tires. I have three grand invested. Nice clean bike to add to your collection. If serious call 1-780-608-5556. Thanx.

    2006 Sherco 2.9 Trials Bike - $2000 (Gettysburg, PA)

Good mechanical condition, newly rewound stator by Motoplat UK, new CDI unit. 2 missing bolts for tank and fender (easy fix, just haven't had the time). Fork seal on one side is leaking a little. Cylinder was recently inspected by local mechanic and has plenty of life left. Paid $2600 for the bike in October...no time to ride. Call me at seven 1 7 nine six five 16 sixteen and leave message. I will get right back to you, please no texts.

What would be a reasonable price for a bike like that? The Aprilias always looked like neat bikes to me.

    CLASSIC SPANISH IRON.....1978 BULTACO 250 SHERPA T
Here is a rare 1978 Bultaco 250 Sherpa T...arguably , Bultaco's most famous model which revolutionised the sport of " trials riding " in the 1960's Originally trials competition was almost exclusively dominated by heavy British 4 strokes , then Sammy Miller teamed up with Bultaco to produce a lightweight 2 stroke model which rendered the 4 strokes obsolete. Miller won the 1965 Scottish 6 Day Trials and then claimed the European Trials Championship in '68 and '70...It is believed that the T in ...

    Hey yall,
Just found a 2002 GG txt pro for 2k
Problem is the seller says between first and second it consistently finds a false neutral, then clunks into gear.
Is this common or is the tranny gonna need a rebuild?
I figure alotta tinkerers frequent this thread so it'd be a good place to ask..

These bikes don't shift up and down through the gears like normal bikes, so it's likely normal. My Yamaha engined Scorpa does this too. It's better with fresh oil, but...

Gee, what's that gear between first & second? Oh, yeah, NEUTRAL!

Me thinks he isn't lifting his foot forward off the peg to shift, just trying to toe the lever. Lazy. Missed shifts are easy that way.

Bust him on the price for a new trans & get it fast. :deal

Beware, 2002 are well known to have gear box problems. First year of model series.

If its in great shape all but the finding neutral it could just be the eccentric adjust, however I would check into sideup's comment on the early year gear box issues. And if its been abused then all bets are off. Good luck. :freaky

The 2002 had all kinds of issues, but still could be a good bike. Good chance of needing a shift shaft and the shift drum should be replaced. The shift drum on the `02 was very weak and known to crack. I would count on an engine split. good luck.
