Yep, Can't see those cyls being worth that.
" Bill of Sale only - will help with shipping"
Sounds completely legit.
The funny thing is, the teenage me when this bike first came out, DID want one of those - as much from seeing that ad as anything else.
Maybe his zero key stuck or his decimal point didn't work. Should be $150.00
1975 - $12000 (East Bakersfield)
This a rare find this a complete project call for details will not answer text or email
What color is the shag carpeting in the business end of that conversion?
That somehow reminds me of the movie "Corvette Summer". Came out in '78, the year after Star Wars. I begged my mom to let me go see it at the theater, one of my buddies was going. I was 13 and Luke Skywalker was pretty kool. Mom let me go see it.
It was the biggest piece of shit movie of all time, must be why that reminds me of it. Terrible flick. Still remember the ugly ass Vette from the movie. Looks as gaudy and lame as the project one in the ad.
I was living in Denver the summer the movie came out and a buddy landed a gig as a photographer at a promo for the movie. We met the two guys hired by the studio to run the 'vette back and forth around the country for promos. The guys had been running into Denver on I-70 and speeding so they were pulled over by the Hi-Po. Officer began writing the guy on the left hand side of the car a ticket even though this car is right hand drive. The two got into a huge argument with the officer and almost got arrested before the officer recognized the steering wheel on the RH side of the car and switched up the guy who got the ticket. If they had been willing back to Co. for the trial they could have got the ticket thrown out for being written to the wrong person, but they were from California.
See the steering wheel through the back window.
We then followed the car to a local drag strip where the car did a few exhibition runs. The problem was that the builder had set up the rear end at a ratio of around 3.70 for highway cruising during the summer promotion tour. It tended to bog badly off the line.
There was a review of one of those in C&D decades ago:
I remember when the local TV station showed that movie and the announcer said, "Corvette Summer - proof that great movie opportunities come along once in a lifetime!"
There wouldn't be room for consenting midgets in there....
Looks like more room that the 280z I had.
Here we have a super ugly 1986 450 rebel for $4000. The bike certainly isn't rare, a mid 1980's Honda Rebel is probably one of the most common motorcycles around...
"1986 RARE HONDA REBEL 450!!! - $4000 (SALISBURY,MD)"
Prince rode a 450 in Purple Rain - that looks more like Liberace's 450. It has been sitting outside a lot (in the purple rain?) judging from the switchgear....
But it still has the tools.

For sale is a new orange county choppers pez colletor set. Bought in the states about 10 years ago. This is a rare collectable, limited number produced and has not been available for sale in years.
This was the first pez dispenser to be done using live people. See screenshot from pez.
Nothing untoward about that sentence at all.
That would make it a really limited edition!
