An 8 grand kz550?
Bikes like this remind me of the tech bubble, when a lot of stupidly overvalued IT companies suddenly went bust when people figured out there was nothing behind them. I can't help thinking in a few years there'll be hundreds of abominations like this on CL for chump change, or "trade for lawnmower."
WOW! They sound like a really awesome DEALER to do business with!!
"We finance ANY credit situation. 95% approval rate. APR as low as 3.9% with excellent credit. We have financing available for every credit level. No credit, bad credit, good credit or excellent credit - we have you covered. In addition to offering financing through various lenders, we also accept credit cards (3% transaction fee applies), bank loan checks and even cash!"

...and first-born child.
What about magic beans? Bitcoins? Carbon Credits? Emails from Nigerian Government officials that swear you'll be receiving $25 million in cash in just a few weeks?
That dealer has an active sales staff to talk you into a bike you can't afford.
They have a so-so repair shop with one tech who knows just enough to read the shop manuals.
But their busiest employees are the repo drivers, always plenty of bikes to snatch back.
The KZ550 was the only bike I ever sold that I regret selling. A fantastic machine. But asking $8K for a KZ550 is an insult. Only a fool would sink a lot of money into building a bike like that. I don't think there exists a big enough fool to consider buying it.
My favorite part is how they posted the CL ad using HTML code. As if they cut and pasted it off an ebay ad. Do they not check their ads? Or did they do it and just think "Ah... f&*k it, good enough"?
People send me texts all the time that read like they were composed using those refrigerator magnets with a letter on each one just shoved into random order. Some are so bad I have no idea what the sender is saying. I'd be reluctant to trust anyone who'd post that ad to do something as detail-oriented as financing.
Looks like the.got the rear shocks for
JAP BIKE SPARES, in Australia
Same as my cheep self did....for a 500$ bike, not an 8k! One.
I don't have 8k in my 4 81 GPz550's.
OK so sell me one of them for less than two grand.
Ok, I'll go a full $2K for one thanks.
Hold on. I'm wanting to trade 2 of them for the GSXR1000 on their website. Each GPz has to be worth 7g...right?
Gimme a break, I got to ship to the UK!
You have the same thing I have-- MIBOS--- Multiple Identical Bike Owning Syndrome.
In my case, it's VF1000Fs
Hard to find 94 FZR600 best offer wins.
Another day, another perfectly good period motorcycle - well regarded in it's day - completely fucked up by some cousin-banging inbred moron.
I wouldn't trade one of yours for that POS they're selling.
“Hard to find motorcycle” - hard to find because it’s painted to look like a random pile of junk?
