    Definitely counts. I backed mine just out of the garage, put it in neutral with the stand down and cranked it while I put my gear on. While climbing on the big bitch my left foot hit the shift lever. Knocked it in first, lurched forward a couple feet and down I went.

    Felt stupid, but glad to find out whether or not I can lift it on my own while still in the driveway than in the middle of nowhere.

    You can lift these f'ers (1290 included) the improper way by just grabbing the crash bars facing forward and going for it. Keep your back straight and use your legs. Piece of cake. Hug the bitch.
