Does anyone know if there would be a compatability issue with an Acerbis 4.1 gallon gas tank and Unabiker radiator guards on a 2009 CRF450X?
    Thanks,
    Marlon

After a long day of riding with friends, we would sit around a fire and talk about the day's riding, and everyone would ask me, how in the hell did I get up that hill on that bike?!?!? The same way I do everytime, I close my eyes and pin it! LOL That bike is a beast!

Seabee: I have the small Wolf tank and panier bags for it.

I picked-up an 05 450EXC that may be better suited for highway work. I also picked up a brand new (175 mi) ten year old LC-4 Enduro that really might be the go-to bike for out-of state travels. Then I'd just use the Honda or EXC for local dual sporting.

The girl has an 08 WRR that's all set-up so we'll be gettin' about the 4-corners into UT/CO/NM.

I'm about to retire so I figured I better have three bikes to wear out ! Should keep me out of the bars anyways. Ha !

Much more street friendly now with a 14/46 combo. All that's left to make it road worthy is some balanced d606's. The unbalanced dirt tires give some shake at higher speed. A taller more comfy seat would be nice too :D

Just heard from a friend that his buddy in Portland got his crf450x plated. I am going to give it a shot next week. Has any one else had good luck get a plate on a dirt bike in Oregon?

Post up your experience if you would. I'm on the fence right now as I'd like to plate a 450X or possibly a 250X....
    Thanks

Does anyone have some OEM CRF450 friction clutch plates out on the bench could you take some measurements
We Husky riders have heard we can use these plates in our 08-10 450-510 bikes.
Need width of locking tab, width of space between tabs, overall OD and ID of plate.

    Thanks for your help

How about this: Does the 2005 CRF450X use the same fiber clutch plates as the 2008 CRF450X?

The Honda parts fiche lists the same part number for both years.

Thank you, I will order some for my Husky, Husky only sells fiber and steel as a package, $150, I can get a set of CRF fiber plates right now on BikeBandit for about $60, if they don't work for me, I have a buddy with a CRF I can give the plates to.
